It's a scene from an independent film he was in, called "The Disk: Code Zero," along with other members of TRICKset and other groups that have been featured in his videos such as Team Pandora and the far less skilled NLPK (my group)
there's a difference between camera fighting and actual fighting... on cameras, haymakers make a punch more powerful wide and hard... tht perfect technique gets boring...
@Epic1 wow epic, the 540 kicks were awesome, but dude, y did you take so many hits and dude please do make at least 1 movie where rather then fighting with all your opponents you like avoid them by tricking and park kuor like district b 13
Big cred to you guys! Me and my own crew are actually also making these kinds of movies, Martial Arts mixed with stunts and a short story. It's a lot of fun and hopefully we will distribute some of our movies on Youtube aswell. Any tips? Anything would be helpful! Thanks and again: Great job!
that was crazy! i wanna see that movie so bad but its not coming out anywhere near me. at least i dont think so. is there anyway i can watch it online or somthing?
Everyones already said how good it was so I don't really know what to say. I like how the gainer kicks are landed sloppily, it's the only way you'd land in an actual fight. haha and that kid wearing the urban freeflow shirt. Good job to everyone
ok most of it was good. but the shakey parts looke dlike shit. your acting and fighting was great, everything was good exept, for the fake blood on the girl the cameraman, and the sound effects.
The camera was terrible, it's not just the fact that there is too many angle changes but the fact that a very basic rule of crossing over a center line if broken, resulting in a very messy and confusing view for the audience. Theres 1 line going through the two actors, you need to stay on one side of that line, the actors can move over the line but to change which side the camera is on but the camera needs to stay on the side of the line it starts on.
The DP was definitely aware of the 180 degree/ axis of action rule when shooting this scene. The purpose of the camera angle changes and the crossing of the line was to create a purposefully disorienting scene for audiences. Taken out of context the scene could appear to be sloppy but each movement and angle is motivated within the film. The only place where the axis cross is bad is the camera angle on Epic with the gun.
Well I noticed several times through-out the scene where the rule was broken, and the shaky camera and many cuts is enough to disorientate the viewer, but when you throw in that on top of it, it becomes confusing for the viewer and hard to watch, which is really why it's a rule. None the less, it was a good attempt and despite the camera problem, the action was good so well done.
I never like the constant camera angle change in action movies. Epic have many super moves and I think he don´t need too many film edition to see amazing...... But 5 stars, congratulations!
yeah, since this was an independent film production we didn't have the ability to use professionally trained actors. they did fine for having no experience at all.
you guys did a really nice job here. keep up the good work and do your best. more please. take care and be safe.
