  • I love how Paul is so full of surprises...always moving on...always growing! <3

  • I heard the song on Letterman and I loved it, but I heard him sing it Live in Chicago on Sunday and I was over the moon. I was dancing around like a 16 year old too. I can't say enough about his performance. He and his band mates put their hearts and souls into it. BEST CONCERT EVER!

  • Fantastic song. Almost every song is mindblowingly good. He really tapped into the Muse for this one!

  • His music makes me glad I lived in no other time.

  • One thing I hate is most people don't know this song. You can see it on videos from his concerts where he performs it and people stands with no reaction. I saw Paul McCartney last year (May 27th) here in Mexico and the same thing happened: I was the only one in my area who was singing it and dancing to it. And I agree, the song is good but performed live it simply rocks!

  • I saw him perform this song this year, 2010 in Glendale, (front row), the Hollywood Bowl a few weeks later from the front row of the terrace, then RIO Tinto, Salt Lake City this summer and heard this song in rehearsal, then from front row during the concert. It's a good song, but it is a GREAT song live and I believe one of his best. Though simple, it actually has a lot going on and set to visuals with an incredible sound system, I admit it had this old man jumping around like a 16 year old.

  • I think this is one of those few cases in which the song sounds better live than in the record. Great song tough.

  • I get it...this was the week the "AMS" guy came and lost his ticket back home...So they made good use of it in the mean time. Just kidding...I love it...it's just??? VERY different ... Perhaps this is Paul at some experimental stage...Like a modern version of Revolution # 12...9 ???

  • sooo beautiful. very very nice. the song gives mi feeling the life is nice, symple and i can go my one way

  • Lovely - very George song - makes me miss George even more than usual. Would love to hear them sing this together. I was just having lunch with my parents and Roy Orbison singing on a Wilbury's track came on and I thought - George wrote such soaring and penetrating songs ... his spirit is in this one and not just because of the instrumentation.

  • Very Coool !...Thankyou Gary...:)

  • Great share Gary haven't heard this one before really love it :) Uplifting :)

  • It's funny to see people who buy into the "Paul is Dead" stuff. It's one of the more hilarious crazy conspiracies out there. Gotta love nutjobs and the entertainment they provide.

  • It's funny because people who believe the "Paul is dead" shit are completely insane. It's rather hilarious.

  • @caulinrocker You're wrong - Go away and do some proper research on this... alright. The man today claiming to be Paul McCartney is a double, you can think and hypothesise all you want on it after that.

  • @caulinrocker You think you know about it - Go and examine video footage of McCartney pre-Sept 1966 and after. There is no video footage of Paul McCartney after late Sept 1966. The car crash Tara Brown stuff is disinfo to put people off imo. I've seen "Paul McCartney" in concert, it was not the original man. There are also many hints in the solo material - see imaphoney "Paul is dead" here on you tube.

  • @caulinrocker look up the channel iamaphoney on you tube - type "Paul is dead" - Paul McCartney RIP

  • I think it's his best song of all.

  • I love this song when Paul plays it with his band live but I don't like so much here. It's much better live. I have 2009 DVD of his NY concert in City Field and it's a great concert and I love this song there played live.

  • I don't get it. Why are there still people on this planet who think Paul McCartney is DEAD! Come on, people, this is the REAL Paul McCartney, he ISN'T dead!!!!! I'm serious, it's very annoying hearing this crap.......

  • @WoodyWMan This isnt Paul McCartney, hes been dead over 40 years.

  • @Hilarion1771 No he Isn't. His birthday was friday. He's 68 now!

  • @caulinrocker Paul McCartney died in 1966.... so it can't be him, can it.

  • @Hilarion1771 Paul McCartney isn't DEAD! That's bullshit!!!!!!

  • 0:36 <3

  • How to write a good melody:

1.Mess around on instrument of choice until you find something you like.

2.Make sure Paul McCartney hasn't already used the melody you came up with.

  • @johnsipodtouchhelp It's sure you hate Paul McCartney because such a stupid comment. Why don't you say "make sur Phil Collins hasn't already used the melody you came up with" for example. Is it because you envy Paul Mc for his extraordinary talent? Sure it's so because you pretend with your comment that Paul Mc creates all the melodies in the world what it's as stupid as your comment.

  • @jorditass It's a joke. Calm down.

  • @johnsipodtouchhelp Ok. I missunderstood it. Anyway I don't see the laugh in your joke.

  • It sounds like really heavy heavy rain, and thunder and is really different from what i've heard him do before. really fresh.

  • @Natashahoneypot paul teamed up with another guy to amke 3 albums as "The Fireman" so far--and he was just playing around experiementing playing random instruments and getting creative- thats how this song and others came out. He worked with "Youth" (Davd something---

  • I've never seen a picture of Paul holding a sitar before. There are many pictures of George Harrison, of course, with a sitar.

  • My new favorite song!

  • @getback9691 finally someone agrees that Paul's new work as the Fireman is good! if u love this song u have to hear his other Fireman songs too- they're very creative and I love some of them alot, though of course I agree SIng the HCanges is 1 of my favorites

  • Truly a great Macca song. One of my favorites from his solo years.

  • Paul is too goddamned good to be believed.

  • ABSOLUTELY FRIGGIN PERFECT!!!! John would have loved it (they were always trying to impress each other) - the exact song that would have brought them back together!!!!!!!!!!! Whack yer earphones on and TURN IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @HEV29 Spot on - Lennon would have definitely dug this song.

  • Liking the lovely pics xx

Paul is a musical genius, but people don't like optimistic music generally They prefer a load of shite This music is lovely, love Paul, haven't heard it b4 Thanks for posting xx

  • @HEV29 You should check out his live version from "Good evening New York City"

  • It's coming.. theres more... believe it...

  • Paul is a fricken musical genuis

  • I fu*** love Paul's Fireman album and this song especially!!!!

If you lot don't like it, don't listen to it!

  • beautiful boy, greatest man now !

  • Thank you very much.

  • paul doing bono. i prefer paul doing gene vincent. or little richard

  • @rubberrev0lver Paul doing bono???? Give me a fucking break. It`s the other way around. Bono is more inspired by the beatles than Paul is by bono. This is Paul doing Paul.

  • @Enslaved10 Paul McCartney is dead, this isn't him. Great song though.

  • @Hilarion1771 you cant honestly believe that stupid rumor that was made up and goten over by most people ages ago-- Paul is live!!!!!!!!!!!-read the wikipedia article on Paul is Dead rumor and youll see what really happened and what the mistake was

  • @4FabBEATLES You don't know what you're talking about, Paul McCartney hasn't been seen since late 1966.

  • @Hilarion1771 You actually believe that? And personally I cant appreciate this song knowing the beatles.

  • @Kridane If you knew what he was singing about here you may have a greater appreciation. However, this is not Paul McCartney and you can think whatever you like about that.

  • @Hilarion1771 idiot.

  • @Petertunes Fuck off kid

  • This song would be a worthy addition to any of The Beatles best albums. Credit to Paul for never becoming a nostalgia act.

  • Feeling!

  • Love this song . What's up with all the anger people?

  • never thought I'd see so many negative comments on such a possitive song. Grow up people.

  • U2 have covered the Beatles but The Beatles never covered U2. nuff said!

  • well stupid, that would be hard to do since U2 wasnt around when the Beatles were around ...they are only approaching 50 years of age and the remaining beatles are at least 15 years older than them

  • Glad you got my point!!

  • I HEAR U2

  • That's because U2 is heavily influenced by the Beatles. To be more accurate, when you hear U2, you hear some of the Beatles.

  • I'm a huge McCartney fan too. This is a great song and I'm sure the others on the album are too. He played this last night on the Letterman Late Night Show along with 6 other songs. Only two were aired but if you go to the Late Show with Dave Letterman web page you can hear and see the mini-concert. GREAT STUFF!! Rock on Sir Paul!!

  • im a big paul mccartney fan

  • Wow, I've always liked Paul's work but I'm starting to like his Fireman stuff best of all!

  • Some nice rarer pics here - some from the old Beatles Monthly magazine if I'm not mistaken!

  • Good tune but I like the intro the best --wished it would go on.

  • This is so fucken excellent. Awesome montage.

  • If you stop living, the lyrics will stop. Paul has been doing a lot of living these past few years!

  • paul is in the zone,it's getting better all the time

  • pleeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!!!

send me the pic of the younger paul!!!!!!!!

    XD

  • U2ish---I like it, and love U2

  • false. nothing Paul McCartney writes is "U2ish" you freak!....this is the greatest musician of the modern era you are talking about here.

Perhaps your thinking should be that U2 was influenced by Sir Paul and his legendary music??....U2 will be writing waltzes from a retirement home when they are Paul's age...

  • Gang, you're a moron. Thie reason this sounds U2ish is that it was produced by Youth who has produced (drum roll please) U2!

  • what he's saying is that U2 was influenced by paul, therefor paul still deserves credit for the sound

  • :/ w/e

  • Beautifully said mate. This song is simply magnificent. Paul McCartney is without question the single greatest musician to have ever walked God's green earth. Period!

  • completley true, what you said right there.

  • Ha Ha ...I don't think so

U2 have been around over 30 years that 3 times as long as the Beatles...they have also done something no other band including the Beatles has ever done

managed to remain intact ......30+ years same 4 guys who started the band are still in the band ...no lineup changes,no breakups...no one has left the band,no one else has joined.

That in itself is an amazing, remarkable accomplishment

  • so they stayed together, BUT the two band mates died ill have you know

  • yes but cmon now.... the Beatles were split up for years before John was murdered and George died, you can't deny that

  • well, yeah..but it was'nt because of a fight or anything and besides together or split up, they make AMAZING music

  • I agree, U2 is an awesome band, but the Beatles are. Just because they (Beatles) weren't together for 30 years, they accomplished a lot that U2 hasn't. Example: The Beatles NEVER had a bad album. U2 has. You can't argue that; the Beatles were fantastic- each and every album. 27 #1 Singles, Hugely influential albums, they were the founders of contemporary pop/rock and roll. And in a way they invented MTV, being one of the first groups to ever have a music video.

  • theBeatles were only around for 10 years if they were around for 30+ years they would have made a few albums that the critics and the public would have panned it could be argued that U2 didnt make a bad album in their first 10 years of existence too...but it is inevitable the longer you stick aorund (U2) the more people resent you. As far as #1singles go it was a different time back in the 60's by the time 80's,90's and this decade look at all the rap, pop, metal etc. U2 had to compete with

  • That doesn't make them the best band of all time you fucking bellend, If anything that makes the beatles better , because U2 have had 30 years to write better songs than the beatles an thy have yet to succeed , so stop talkin bollocks

  • I never said they were the best band of all time, you dumb shitdick.... what I said is I can count on one hand the # of bands who have been around for 30+ years with no personnel changes ever...here it is ...one band.... U2 and if that isnt hard to accomplish why has no other band done it??

  • yeah but your american so ur a cunt face

  • and you're a limey pansy fuck

  • Ur a fat american cunt face

  • Well I'm not fat but everybody knows you're the abortion that lived,so fuck off and die...no one wanted you anyway

  • does that make all of us fat since we are Americans? I weigh 118 and am 54yrs of age.

Been a Beatle fan most of my life. There always has to be one like you that ruins the whole posting board. What makes you so angry? Where do you live? I'll be sure to not visit if most are like you.

  • I'm sorry im actually really nice i dont know why i said that

  • Thanks, apology accepted. By the way where are you? I'm in Texas.

  • The midlands in England :)

  • @Dollarbob Wow, i guess you scared them really bad.. Haha...

  • i sure did. are you next...

  • @Dollarbob next to what?

  • next to die

  • Me?? No. Not really.

  • some day you will be! lmao

  • Well, so will you

  • actually no. I have already experienced physical death and know what happens. when you die, you will be reincarnated..but likely won't recall your past life and be subsumed into the creative energies of the cosmos. I will retain my consciousness and live forever. lmao

  • Now you`re talking. According to a psychic i know i`ve already lived once before. I was a poor farmer in Spain.

  • and it will happen again. a psychic will tell you hundreds of years from now that you talked to me on youtube. i am going to live forever. i cannot be extinguished!

  • Ok. what can i say.. Do you think youtube will exist in hundred years?

  • yes.

  • Ok, in actual fact my house is haunted, so this conversation was interesting. There is a old lady in my house. She`s nice, and we get along. But at first i hated her. It took me years to accept her presence.

  • what do you mean you get along with a ghost? do you converse wit hthe ghost? No.

  • She used to cause trouble. Scare my friends and stuff. i communicate with her through a psychic.

  • She caused trouble cause she was pissed off at me. She thought i didn`t clean the kitchen and she hated my room mate. But it`s alright now. She`s very quiet.

  • She used to scare the hell out of my girlfriend to.

  • good one. Theres no such thing as ghosts

  • According to psychic I talked to I was a failed musician... too bad

  • screw you asswipe.

  • Paul is good at everything, gosh he's so inspiring ......

    He's the best guy ever

  • Great piece Paul keep the music on!!!!!!

  • How do you improve perfection?

  • by adding this song ot it

  • Oh blow me Tire

  • Great song - best for a long time

  • shocking....it does sound a bit like U2, who I can't stand, but this is cool!!!!

  • sounds like U2!

  • it is very sad to say but your right

  • Brilliant.

  • wow, this is actually miles ahead of his regular solo stuff!

  • What a great song. Another masterpiece from the genius.

  • ooooooooo I love this

  • i think the intro was very George Harrison-ish

    may he RIP

  • This track sounds like the perfect backdrop for like a new Lexus commercial or something lol

  • I haven't heard this yet. It's very different for Paul. Gotta get used to the melody. He's a cutie still.

    Thx for the share!

    Kathy

  • AWESOME 10********** POST thanks TRICIA AWESOME SHARE GIRL

  • Such handsome pictures!!

2:20-2:23 --He looks like a little wolf. Its that look. I love that look.

1:16-1:19 --The Beatles are such unifiers!

  • I heard it few minutes ago and FUCK IT's GREAT !!!

  • This is a great Paul Mccartney album. Still pushing the boundaries.

  • it sems like the cure or angels and airwaves but sounds good :-)

  • Great song indeed. Come to Chile, Paul!

  • Paul sings the HELL out of this song!

  • I like this, it kind of sounds a bit like Bloc Party

  • Hi!! Can you tell me where I can find the album? ... is a fantastic and original song!!

    cheers ;)

  • EXCELLENT!!!!

  • A very great one ...

  • Wow!Great Rock song

  • Beatleandy1, thanks for posting these songs. Been dying to hear them. Looking forward to a new Paul CD. ...or a new Fireman CD...whichever.

  • I'm very happy to see That Paulie is on the road again!

  • I'm not sure about this. I'm a huge Macca fan. He's my idle. I do have to say though, if he says that it may ruin his carrear, maybe it's not worth getting. I wouldn't really feel this way, except his last album was somewhat of a let down. It wasn't all bad though. There were a few good songs on it.

  • He never said the album might ruin his career. I read the entire article. He was joking. He was saying I was asked to ad lib.. oh what is the point talking to you pinheads. Paul never gave a shit. He releases what he wants and hopes for the best. He always said "I am happy o be able to do any of it." Some of you people don't deserve to hear Paul at all. Ed

  • Yes, I realize he was joking. That should be farely obvious. What I meant to say was that his last few albums havn't been his best. I do admit, they're still way better than any other music comming out today. There were even some songs off his last two albums that I really enjoyed. To expect anything remotely good from Paul is nothing but greedy. He's given us so much since The Beatles.

And by the way, I have to listen to his music. I couldn't live without it.

  • Blow me away photos!

    Heavenly!

    Mucho gracious!

  • himm and jim sturgess look sooo much alikee x___x

  • wow...this man has AGAIN never let me down!!!! THAT RARELY HAPPENS!! Paul im so glad that ive grown up listening to you :)

  • i ment that him letting me down rarely happens LOL! sorry

  • This is my favorite of the three songs so far! GREAT SONG!!! I know the other two were officially put out there, but how about this one?!?

Do you have a promo copy of the whole album already? If so will you PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE post more tracks ASAP!! I am going to buy it as soon as it's released anyway. Thanks & Blessings!!

  • I just have the 3

  • ROCK ON!!
