  • driver is waving to the marshalls... lol what a loser!

  • was the weather particularly hot then?

  • I feel bad liking this vid. Makes me feel as if im happy the F1 is burning.

Really miss this level of GT1 though.

  • 1:19 - 1:28 afterburners: activated

  • it hurts to see these 2 really great cars just burn away...

  • 0:48 I want a color-changing cap too!

  • May be a sniper shooting in Le Mans...Hummmm..!!

  • That's the koolest looking flame job ever. It looks so real.

Bye Bye $. Bye Bye fun.

  • Atvonz dont post 5 times the same thing!!!!!

  • FIXED RACES!!!!!

  • Ha i could run faster backwards with those extinguishers xD

    Lard Asses xP

  • @DaBeesNees100 Try running with a fire extinguisher after 22 hours on/off, full one-piece overalls, in decent footwear and across potentially unstable grass, it's not going to be easy!

  • The reason the driver is pissed athe the firefighters is because hes thinking, shit what if i was trapped inside the car...its taking them forever to get here.

  • A sad day for all racers

  • It really is in the final stages of the race, both the Porsche GT1 and the Gulf McLaren fighting for a podium finish and then they're both went into flames in the space of four and a half minutes.

  • unfit marshalls

  • when this started i thought wtf this is forza3 it really looks like a computer game just the bit with the porshe lol'd

  • I hate to see marshals running accross the track :(

  • I know, every time I see a Le Mans race or any sport car race, it makes me nervous because of how dangerous it is for them.

  • @lemans24fan a split second of mistake and they could either die or walk away from it.

  • @drlargepants You remember the 1978(ish) F1 GP of South Africa at Kyalami? Yikes.

  • @danthemanpatrick Tom Pryce getting killed, and track worker. 1977 I think.

  • Good the drivers didn't die in the fire

  • why is that marshal spraying the ground it is not on fire lol 2:02

  • from 0:00 to 0:03 it looks like an old game.. o:

  • @TimKaaarl Need for speed Porsche? really? XD!

  • @SatanJaguer I said it.

  • 0\10 for track crew.

  • Sounds like both of the STPs had a design flaw common between them.

  • It's never nice to see this sort of thing - and it's fantastic to see that he got out in time.

Now that he's safe, however, I must admit I sniggered when a Storm Trooper stumbled out of the smouldering car.

  • Does anybody know what happen to both cars to cause fires like that? Very usual

  • @dj4monie they had a problem with the fuel that year, it was too rich in nitrogen or something causing a lot of the tunes on the cars to be excessive and when the cars would backfire on downshifts it would cause flame to enter the fuel tanks thru the fuel lines

  • What I want to know is why marshalls ran ACROSS the track to put the McLaren fire out when there was adequate coverage on the side it stopped...

  • The other McLaren on that team went on to finish 2nd.

  • böyle muhteşem arabanın yanması ne kadar kötü..

  • mclarens are really hot cars

  • @atvonz Sounds really hot,too!

  • mclarens are really hot cars

  • Amazing fire! I love this race!

  • The Mclaren and both Porsche's are just beautiful Machines. It is extremely unfortunate that GT1 will no longer participate at Le Mans. I only hope that the FIA GT1 worldwide stays successful. I can honestly say that if todays SPEED vision shows more European racing, it would only draw more enthusiasts... its hard to beleive I talked to a "Sports Car" person the other day, and he had no idea what a Mclaren GTR was..... sad!

  • Who is the commentator?

  • @EJ25RUN I think it is Andrew Marriott

  • Dalmas may be a very good driver, but big crashes are just chasing him along his career

  • Did the fires destroy the Porsche's and McLaren's engines?

  • A broken exhaust on the Posche 911 GT1 and a broken oil lining on the Gulf McLaren of Ray Bellm and Andrew Gilbert-Scott.

  • The Posche 911 GT1 of Kelleners caught fire and the Mclaren F1 #39 engulfed in flames.

  • Andrew Gilbert-Scott and Ray Bellm's McLaren #39 retired in dramatic fashion from fourth place.

  • @18PacWest The other McLaren F1 of that team, #41, went on to finish 2nd overall.

  • Fire in a hole!

  • The Gulf GTC team saw two of their cars go up in smoke

  • @18PacWest

    talk about bad luck

  • @ratzinator1

As David Hobbs would say "That car is done blown up!"
