ive been skating for many years and i cant do these moves lol it looks easy but its rlly difficult! im more of a speed skater/ back skater but yea i did buy vanilla skates even stevens ^^ i love my skates but hopefully one day i can afford the killa nillaz cuz those r to die for! nice work though thanks for the uploads :D
Your method of breaking down the trick into manageable parts is very good. I worked on the snake walk for the first time last night. It's harder than it looks. Thank you for the videos, you're awesome!
Thank you for the instructional videos. I am a roller skater as well; I am into the skate dance style, it is my favorite. I have Carrera quads, I have had them since December 1999. Roller skating is my hobby as well as exercise, I mostly skate every once (hopefully twice or more) a week. I am still learning moves; I like and will practice the moves Grapevine, Snake Walk, and Weave Walk. Thanks again. I have subscribed to this channel.

@TheThekingvictor I don't do much floor work anymore. : / I used to but now I am a bit out of practice and shape lol. I will try to brush up on my floor skills and do some for ya.
@NateySk8rJayJay Those are dangerous. They are not made well at all. The wheels are extremely slippery. I highly recommend returning them and buying a set of "real" skates from an online dealer or a skating rink. Not trying to be mean but never make the mistake of buying roller skates from Walmart, Academy or any other "sporting good" store.
@gongarax Boxers and Gt's are good starter skates. :D I had some Boxers like four years ago. Last about a year or so if you skate all the time. Only bad thing is sometimes the heel of them rips. Same problem with R3 and Carrera.

@badshaw1 It is hard to recommend wheels to people since they are perform differently. I may be able to point you in the right direction if you send me a pm. Bearings I recommend QUBE 8 Balls & for the price you can't beat them. QUBE Gold Swiss & Bones Swiss are great but expensive, China Bones/Bones Reds are good & pretty cheap.
@badshaw1 Stay away from Abec rated bearings. The rating really does not mean anything. It is how the company selling them rates them. You can have 2 sets from 2 brands rated the same & be completely different quality wise.
I agree with rickymwinter123 and definitely respect the wisdom and insight of the elders. Best I've seen either in person or on YouTube. You just don't know how long I've been looking a quality tutorials like this. Respect.

I've been skating about 48 of them 53 years and you have the best instruction on how to do each step or move that I have ever seen ether in person or on youtube. I just want to say a big THANK YOU for the help.
Hmm soo what do you guys call the actual grapevine is it still the grapevine? Just curious to know. This does look similar to the actual grapevine like the one I have a tutorial of. Just wondering if it is like a variation of the grapevine.

K i dont hnoe if its on here or not but where i skate at, they call this trick the (iceburg) it is a moving trick like the grapevine but it is where your movin in a straight line on your two front INSIDE wheels??? Do you know this trick!?!?! Your amazing by the way!!!
Everyone is wanting a tutorial on the Iceberg and sadly I am not the greatest at it. I can do it for a few feet and then I stop. I would not want to teach a trick that I am not confident with so as soon as I am confident with doing it I will make a video of it. :D Promise.
hey i sorry if you dont like request in your comments or somthin like that but i just have a question when i try to skate on my front skates my bak skate always wiggles which makes things kinda hard uum how do i stop this is it just time for new wheels or am i just doin something wrong and once again i love your work
you may have something stuck in your wheels. your wheels could be worn and need to be rotated. your trucks could be too tight or too loose. or your wheels could be too soft for you. I am not sure if any of those is the problem though. But most of the time it is one of those for me. hope ths helped.
It's muscle control. When I was learning certain tricks where I was up on my toe or my heel on one or both skates it used to happen to me a lot. Make sure your center of gravity is good and keep practicing it, you'll just learn to control it :)
