  • nice

  • why you don't use truth? like zac farro's using..

  • @vj712 This little problem that I like to call my income keeps me from getting a Truth. The operative form of "little".

  • @TheBenWelch zach now uses a grech drumset

  • @EpiphoneLPJrGuitar yyyerp. And Zildjian cymbals.

  • woow is the first cover that is well done thats What You Get

  • good but I prefer Cobus... much hotter! :D

  • That was a really tight cover =)

  • Ok Awsome playin...but flipin the stick....dont rub my nose in it ;)

  • Nice cover , dude! :)))

  • woo watch ur mouth. srry this is very cool

  • Nice job. Great sound.

  • Solid! Love the crossover and the stick trick you threw in there too. ;)

  • AWESOME!!! YOUR AMAZING!!!

  • Damn bro that was good.

  • hey, that was amazzing ! i love Paramores songs, and you did greaat !

  • dude how do you hold your sticks. it looks like the butt of the stick is in the center of your hands

  • what does stay in the pocket mean?

  • You can stay technically on beat, but it may sound funny, because every song has a "pocket" or a feel to it. While Kings Of Leons' "Use Somebody" has a backbeat feel, pretty much every paramore song has an aggressive pocket that's on front of the beat.

  • so would playing in time be the same as playing in the pocket?

  • If you're dead in the center of the beat, it'll sound like a drum machine, and it won't have a feel to it...so yes and no. You have to play in time to play in the pocket, but you don't have to play in the pocket to play in time. It's some funky and complicated stuff. It blew my mind that you can drift faster and slower while staying "on beat." There's a "front" and a "back" to a certain tempo.

    ...yeesh...gotta love musical theory

  • yeh i get what your saying. cheers

  • Wow!!

    Nice paramore cover XD

    awesome!!

  • Doublecomment, but...where's the headphones? I just noticed that near the end of the video, haha. Figured you'd be using your Vic Firths as usual.

  • lol I knew someone would notice! I put in some in-ears. They're JVC HA-FX300's....ish quality, but it looks better than the Vic Firths....

  • Doesn't matter if it's a simple song. :P It's still a great band, and you killed it, haha. Nice job, Ben.

And as always, your kit sounds beastttt. The only thing that didn't quite ring well to me was the hi-hat in comparison with the other cymbals/rest of the kit. It seemed a little too high pitched for this. But very well done nonetheless.

  • @m0ns13ur That's the only thing I can pick as well, overall, love it (:

  • great job
