  • Nice to see someone took this seriously and didn't post some snarky non-response. I agree with you btw

  • A politician who HAD to be "approved" by international bankers in the Bilderberg Group in 2004. Oh, tell us ALL about "change."

  • Which proves how great the US is. That our poor people actually have things to steal. Your average poor American has a cell phone, a car, cable, internet, nice clothes. I grew up around these "poor" people. Trust me, they had nice things.

  • sure, poor people in this country are rich vs. people in Darfur, but what about outsourcing of production jobs, and corporate welfare - I guess they're ok because poor people here still have old beaters and velcro K-mart shoes

  • I oppose corporate welfare, and jobs simply are going to be outsourced no matter what we do. Someone in China will do it for a fraction of what it would take to pay an American, nothing will stop this unless Americans start accepting the same pay as Chinese workers will, which won't and shouldn't happen. Like I said, most "poor" people have designed labels and cell phones, not K-mart shoes.

  • If democrats want to fight poverty what's stopping them? They can give all their extra spending money to random poor people if they supposedly care so much. They don't have to steal it from rich republicans.

  • The guys wife is dying of cancer and you're hitting on him?? Shame...

  • Sorry, it was just a joke to try to lighten things up.

  • I was just playin. No worries.

  • Heh, obviously I'm the one that can't get a joke =)

  • Edwards charges $55,000 for poverty speech yet you dont call him out on it?

  • Now see, you're just adorable - I'm thinking this will be one of the videos we'll see used during Edwards' media campaigns. Why can't I be cute & cuddley so politicians will listen to my questions ? LOL - j/k - Great job !

  • Cute maybe, but not cuddly. I have sharp teeth and like to bite. Looks can be deceiving.

  • ... cute, razer-toothed and a danger to others just didn't seem to fit together ^_^

  • But, seriously though. I've been looking at the video responses for Romney and Edwards questions. It seems like of the random youtubers that answered who don't already have a following, the women's videos tend to have far more play counts. Now why would this be?

  • I wasn't of the mindset to notice that.

I've responded to several videos here and it didn't occur to me whom were male or female. I wondered more about their political affilitions first.

Looking back at the responses the majority of them were male. If it is true; Perhaps women recieved extra response because that stood out.

Is there an answer you're already considering ?

  • Although Edwards got almost entirely male responses, Romney got a lot of females. I'm not sure exactly. Maybe women are easier on the eyes, or maybe they seem more trustworthy. Or, like you said, maybe they just stand out more.

  • I didn't make a response to Mitt Romney, because he doesn't have any chance of winning. I should make one just for fun.

They picked which responses went through. It was certainly done with reason: Edwards may have wanted to back away from the stereotype of being handsome & having a large female audience. While Romney may have wanted to balance his rough image with a softer view (easier on the eyes, as you said).

It's fun making guesses on motives, but I try not to over think these things.

  • Romney has a chance at the republican nomination. Currently most polls show him in third and not far behind McCain. There's a long time left until the primaries and I would say he has got as much a chance as Edwards has on the dem side.

  • Mitt Romney is a card carrying Mormon, and needless to say; that affiliation alone will seperate a majority of voters in this country.

  • should separate all voters.

religion has NO business in politics and anyone who brings it up should be thrown down the steps of the capitol (for starters).

  • yeah, um, and people who believe in violence should be shot.

  • NO IT SHOULDN'T, but the fact is - it most certainly does. When would be the last time we didn't have that stereotypical President ? Other than James Buchanan; they were all married, they all attend Church, all white men, they all had children (except for Buchanan & James Polk) and they all had pets. It's part of the campaign stragedy now, because America wouldn't vote for an unmarried atheist Chinese/American woman.

  • You are articulate and seem very intelligent. We need more like you in our political system. I wish you all the best. Did you see my video response to Edwards? (#36)

  • Senator George Mitchell for President 2008
