@3triplexxx why...its so cool, i used to dance to it a lot when i was 16. thats was the era, sort of naive, innocent, easy and more peacefull. Now with the rave and techno its heavy and serious.
@UBTUNE Well I'll have to admit that back then I did learn how to talk like Donald Duck and actually sang along with the duck parts of the song for a laugh.
@3triplexxx do you remember those high rise tight jeans, so tight omg, with the flair. we looked so funny LOL. and the shirts were tight , so tight omg. And the hair so long,.....if you got some now then u r so lucky. LOL
@joealanouf This was the only solid "hit" Dees had. He released another single as a follow-up, "Dis-Gorilla" (just more of the same silliness, but the novelty was wearing off), which managed to make the chart the same year. In 1984, he released another album, which had a double-sided minor hit single, "Eat My Shorts"/'Get Nekked", which also made the chart, but quickly fell off.
Dees was much more popular as a morning drive DJ/comedian, than as a recording artist.
@stonerkid42o You had to be there. I could definitely see someone who didn't grow up with this, not thinking it's funny. Personally, I think it's so stupid, that it's funny, if that makes any sense. I was 10 years old when this came out, and I was MUCH more into AOR (now called Classic Rock) music, and I hated 99% of disco in general.
Honestly, I can't judge how it was back then... I was only 2. :) But, I know that it was much better than today. I do remember the 80's from my childhood, and it was great... SO mucg better than the mess we have going on in today's world.
Uuuuuu El pato Discotequero, Fue No 1 en los 80's Jajajaja No puedo imaginarme a todos haciendo la Coreografia del Patico!! :)

My boyfriend thinks the duck was lip-syncing, but I instructed him that ducks don't have lips. :) Maybe, he was beak-syncing!

Yes, everybody was indeed doing the disco duck and having a hell of a lot of fun.
9th and 10th grade for me. Man the style back then was so much more flattering for women than today. The girls looked good!
Nice hair and makeup, no tattoos, no piercings. What happened?
