@IabuseWomen too easy , try to find two numbers that the sum equal the middle of the equation , and the multiple of the same two numbers equal the last part of the equation.

for example : we have number 13 in the middle.

and 36 in the last part of the equation.

what are the two numbers if you add them together equal 13 ,

it could be 12+1 , 11+2 , 10+3 , 9+4 , if you take the first three options, it wont work cuz the multiple of the two numbers is not equal to 36, except for 9 and 4

I think you need to check your final answer more carefully. BOTH x=9 AND x=4 are solutions. You need to consider the NEGATIVE square roots - think you'll find the square root of 4 is +2 AND -2.

@falloutboy0403 I'm afraid that's simply not true. Try plotting the two graphs of y = x and y = square root(x) +6 and tell me where the lines cross. You should find two solutions at x = 9 AND x = 4

One of the square roots of 4 is -2, and -2 + 6 = 4, so it IS a solution.
