  • @dannyboysix so young left the club in 04. don't remember the name of the place she went but it was another club about an hour west of uijongbu. i had all their numbers on my phone when i left korea, but i haven't seen that phone in at least 5 years. even if i could find it, i highly doubt there is any way it would turn on. the way things were going when i left i'd be real surprised if odgima is still in business. things got really slow for her after they booted the russians from the ville

  • @ the world club we use to bring food off base to the club and MOM & the girls would cook for us while we cleaned the club. I bought 2 awesome blankets at the shop on the left. I still have them. I hungout with 3 awesome chic's the whole time there. I forget their names.

I'm looking for Rakers, sword, freese, osborne, dean, provensano. If you guys see this email me

  • The roxy was a black club. The Eagals club was ok. and the World club is where we hung out. I am really gald you made this video. Brings back awesome memories, i loved that place. Moved to Stanly from Essayonce in 1993 to 94 MLRS unit. I miss SOJU!!!! & RAMIN & CHEESE with hot powder...The Halloween Bar was the first club on the right out the gate..

  • I love it...was there in 96. That smell in the air...them damn fried bugs.....THEE worst smell I've ever smelt!

  • I dont know what it is, but after not being in Korea for over 20 years now, this just looks creepy to me. It brings back all the bad smells, the feeling of being nowhere and thousands of miles away from home, the narrowness of the streets AND minds..I dont miss Korea a bit.

For all you serving now, god bless, and just remember, once your out, you'll always appreciate America that much more .

In closing..A big FUCK YOU to Korea, and a big THANKS to our troops :) Oh, and thanks for the vid

  • Remeber CP... The smell of DDT in the air in the summer... The Kim-Chee Skout... Eating chicken in 3 week oil.... Black market for cheese...

  • Some of the clubs back in 87 were the Big Sam Club, The Cowboy Club, The Pango Club, etc.

  • I remember coming up that hill in the middle of the winter 1987 when it was icy and we were trashed. LOL It looks the same.

  • Remeber the "Miss. Lee Song"

  • I wish I could go back to visit there. I wonder if there is anyone that was there when I was there is still there.

  • I spent a lot of time there 87-88-89. Wow its been that long...

  • (2:13) moved in a week... lol. i lived in the apartment ALL the way at the bottom of the stairs for about 8 months. it was the lowest apartment there, and the back window had a nice view of the chain link and razor wire that surrounded post. i was at stanley from 02-05 (with a short stay at cp. stanton in the middle). i used to DJ at the "Amazing" club before they got rid of the Russian juicy whores. lotsa memories from that $#!^ hole.

  • I was in Sungsunni in1970, Thanks for posting this video. I think the Best Club was the club we went to called the Mamasun club then. Never thought I would see it over the internet back then, its hard to believe.

  • My goodness. I thought I never see that place again. I was hanging out there 20 years ago. What memories! I think I even had some clothes made at Golden Custom tailor. Doesn't look like much has changed. Thanks for sharing.

  • I was there about a year and a half ago and I don't know about you but just seeing that place reminds me of the smell. Puke!

  • OMG! How I miss this place-never in a million year did I think I'd ever say that! I was there as a civilian, husband stationed there in 2004! Met some of the greatest friends in the world there! Actually knew people that lived in your building!! Thanks for the memory! :)

  • i used to work at the gift shop in that area

  • LOL "somebodys cooken something gross"

As I remember it (1989), somebody was always cooken something gross. That place reeeaked bad.

The only signs that look the same to me are the High Cotton and the Taylor shop off to the right in the beginning, everything else looks diffrent. Also, I dont think it was paved that well back in the day.

Glad youll be going back, but for me, thats the last place on earth I would go back to. Dont miss it a bit.

  • I was there in 93-94. Pretty much looks the same except the names of the clubs. Are you still in Korea?

  • Sadly, no, the Army sent us on to Fort Sill in Oklahoma. However, they are retiring my husband this summer, and he is going to try to get a job with Lockheed Martin so we can go back to Korea some day, we really miss it.

  • We lived there from October 2006 until May 2007. ^_^ We miss it, we wish we'd gone AIP and stayed, we miss Ma's fried shrimp and chicken fried rice at "KFC" and just the atmosphere of that little town in general.

Club Roxy the club that is never opened was a great club with pool tables, good music clean enviroment and no pushy stupid drink asking girls. I am in Yongsan and I miss Stanley

  • Thanks for the tour, looks like it has changed very little since 1983. Brings back memories. High Cotton Still there I see. There used to be a painter shop on the left as you turn to go down the hill, I wonder if he is still there. Anyway thanks for the trip down memory lane.

  • Nope, I think he moved to the Casey Ville actually, his little shop is being used as a plant store now.
