How I love this song. I've learned the song from the movie Cars. I've always liked Brad Paisley. the video is really crass, but there is the truth! Once again a big thank you to Brad Paisley and his music even though he is not dead yet.
REAL Free energy technology exists! But the Establishment doesn't want ppl to know this,Get a motor that works with the power of magnets only at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Start the revolution!
the reason we dont like it beacause WE ARE THE ONES WHO BARE THE SCARES OF WAR. War in General is wrong but then again we didnt have a choice to fight. Sometimes i has to be.
ll me about it, I am ex 2 para falklanda war vet , war is shit to much blood of your friends but you never forget makes you cry ,but you deal with it thats the british way
History tells us the same, sad story again and again. Wars create heroes and villains and the war profiteer only gets richer. Bring our money and our soldiers HOME. Now that the private oil development contracts are signed in Iraq. Bin Laden drew us into a trap in the rough terrain of Afghanistan, where Empires go to die. Meanwhile, Bushies made off with the Treasury like banana republic dictators, we build only things that blow up. Wake up, Obama!
great song and great video to go with it, i support our troops and any troops who will willingly ris their lives for the sake of freedom, its good to know that people notice what the troops do
Ex 2 para 1977 to 1986 we knew what we were fighting for but that does not make it easier, you just get on with it, and deal with it later, great song it says it all, you never forget
I agree Tapion058, you took the words out of my mouth. Me and my boys need our countries support, that's really all the pay we need. God bless our troops, and those who stand behind us, not in front of us.
Why does everyone think they know everything about the wars. When most of them aren't on the front lines of the battle. The media lies and some don't care and act as if they don't care for our troops. It's as if todays society lets our troops die in vain, they give the dead the finger and tell them to screw off. If You Can't Stand Behind Our Troops Try Standing In Front Of Them.
I dont know about war, I never was there. I do know it is horrible . I do know, regardless of politics we, need to support our men and women, because theyre risking their lives for us
All you enemy appeasors that believe that crap written for this video, I have this to say. I WAS THERE AND YOU DON'T SPEAK FOR ME! I don't care about your conspiracy theories and I sure as hell don't care what the UN thinks! They don't run my country!! When it's time for me to go back I will and all the cowards that just want a paycheck from the military and don't want to earn it can stay the hell home!! You people make me sick!!
All that is needed for EVIL to succeed is for good men to do nothing. I cannot understand why people do not understand that we cannot afford to sit back and wait to be attacked. Throughout our history we have given of our blood and tresure to free oppressed nations. In WWII, Germany did not attack us. Why was our fight against Hitler righeous? Just as in Vietnam and Iraq, we are trying to free a people from evil. How is that not righeous?
This is a righteous war, it frees the Iraqi population from the tyranical, hell bent dictator who though he may have nothing to do with Al Quuida is harming humans who are our brothers and sisters. This is not Vietnam, and that was also a righteous war, it stopped the unopposed spread of communism, it was essentially a war with Russia as they gave them the means to shoot down our pilots with Russian style radar.
no war that violates international law, incurs widespread censure, and takes such a toll in unnecessary bloodshed and civilian harm can be called righteous. you're wrong to use that word.
I dont understand why you beleive the U.S violated international law. They went to the UNITED NATIONS, received a 15-0 vote. Also what international law did Iraq break, alot of them, time and time again they broke the laws and where not made held accountable. I would appreciate a civil reply if you choose to. if not GOD Bless.
I don't agree with this war, and that does not matter. I love our soldiers, I am grateful, and I thank our soldiers. I want my friends, and everyone's friends and families to come back safely... and I want the killing to stop on BOTH sides.
Thank you to the US men and women serving this country.
Now, for those of you who think Iraq is about spreading democracy, liberty, or any of those ideas...reality check. Iraq is about oil, nothing more and nothing less. Our oil is under their sand and we aim to get it.
Now, whether we take it by force (i.e. invade and occupy) or consent (no-bid contracts after the Iraqis are "liberated") is of no consequence.
Look at PNAC and see how many of its members had a role in the Iraq war plans.
Some, I know this is true. Others... not because they feel the War is the right thing, but staying to fight because their commrades were killed there, that is the right thing to do. for some it's how can I leave when it coulda been woulda been shoulda been ME that died instead of HIM... Not all that re-enlist think the job is important... it's just become their job -- and keeping their brothers that are already there alive is what's important.
all you people who bitch about the war.think if you had a saddam hussain for leader what would your life be like than.anybody talking crap are not only disrespecting our forfathers, teyare disrepcting our brave men and women fighting over there now . show some class you ass holes and realize these people have left behind wife's kids mothers and fathers so you idiot' s can have a better life. to all you over there and anywhere else thank you and we all hope for a quick and safe return
I do not support this war.I DO support the men and women who risk thier lives everyday.I have friends that I consider family stationed in Iraq.I think of them often and hope for thier safe return, but there are never any gaureentees.I understand that the US couldn't stand idoly by as our buildings and innocents were being killed for senseless reasons, but enough is enough.Let Iraq rebuild for themselves now.We have enough problems in the US to deal with.Bring our families home where they belong.
For all you who support us troops. Well, I was.. Medically retired for wounds recieved in an Ambush on June 2, 2007 that claimed the life of a brave American Soldier, my team leader.. Thank you for your support.. It means so much, As for everyone els who rattls off and gave negative votes for 04OIF05 I give you a big Fuck you.
This is a wonderful video. I'm a Vietnam vet, a member of Veterans For Peace and I know many Iraq vets opposed to the war. If 04OIF05 served in Iraq, he needs to be honored for that. I do think, however, he would benefit from paying attention to more than Fox News, whether he agrees with what's said or not in the more "liberal" venues. I read Commentary and watch Fox News -- while I think they're both dead wrong. We all need to expand our minds.
Vetagainstwar, I commend your service in Vietnam. Welcome Home, I dont watch FOX either. I was In Iraq Q-west, Anaconda were the 2 camps. Again I have seen the positive things we have done there. For people to say that they THINK they know without being there dont know shit. You yourself should know just like in 'Nam, The Military never lost a war. The politicians lose wars.
"The Military never lost a war. The politicians lose wars." Never said better. To me, the problem is starting wars that aren't necessary for national survival but a matter of choice for national ambitions felt by certain politicians. Since survival is not the issue, soon enough the war becomes a national debate, which is where we are. It's not our soldiers' fault; they're just the ones sent to do the job demanded by the politicians' ambitions. I hope you are doing well.
3 WMD's of course we cant find them, they are hiding them in Syria and throughout Iraq, remeber Saddam had 8-9 years of hiding under the NO-BALLS Clinton admin. 4 I AM NOT SURE YOU ARE TALKING TO, I support the war, I have been there seen the reality of what we have done. I dont watch CNN MSNBC or any other bullshit news.
Garof in my view is RIGHT ON not a fraud. I was an Army Nurse in Vietnam and lived war not read about it. I was anti-war before I went to Vietnam and am more so after experiencing hell on earth. Parts of this song resonate with me, but overall what I lost DID NOT make me a better person, just sadder and wiser and totally intolerant of the uninformed. If I hadn't seen the accompanying video and just heard the song, I never would have thought it was anti-war.
I'll take a stand, you're all KNUCKLEHEADS!!! The things that the Gov't said would happen in Vietnam and the rest of Southeast Asia happened. Millions died, were imprisoned, or ended up refugees. Rationalize that away if you can, I'm glad no one is doing that in Iraq.
Get Real!!!!! Nothing is different between what happened in Vietnam and what is happening now in Iraq. As a Vietnam Nurse I can truly say, "been there, done that".
Great video! I no longer strive to be rich, but to live life at a relaxed pace, and thats when I realized what was really important...family, food, water, health, a roof over my head, and education...everything else was not important.
I agree and it's interesting that the people who are for the still war are the ones that are untouched by it and benefiting from it. Normal people, not just radical hippies are realizing the injustices of the war, it's a rich man's war (for oil) fought by poor and aveage people) and the troops and their families are experiencing this first hand. It is exploitation of our troops as well as innocent iraqi civilians. the whole reason why this war started doesn't make any sense at all.
How I love this song. I've learned the song from the movie Cars. I've always liked Brad Paisley. the video is really crass, but there is the truth! Once again a big thank you to Brad Paisley and his music even though he is not dead yet.
