  • Is there any reason why no fluids appear in the wizards default fluid dialog box. I see gases and everything else in your video at 2:34 but no options and a grey vaccant area. can you help me?

  • Thanks for posting this, it actually helped. but, I'm trying to get the y and x force components for a car body's front air vents, but it gives me an error message of "no fluid volume has been defined. Check Geometry or boundary conditions" could you possibly tell me what that is, and how to get past it?

    thanks in advance.

  • I cant find Flow Simulation add-in in Solidwork..i`ve installed it but it still not appear there..need help please..

  • @htosua Have you had any luck with this issue? I aslo cant find the Flow Simulation menu (have SW2011).

  • Thanks for this tut, helped me a lot on my project!

  • This works for 2010 as well!

  • I am trying to do this with a circular cylinder but whenever I hit run I get an error message that it cannot "create the basic mesh". Is there anything i have to do aside from simply sketching the part and extruding it to add length before I can run the flow analysis?
