  • Haha, awesome video man. I bought some old ones for camping to replace the newer style I had and haven't stopped collecting. Don't know why I do it either but if I see one for a good price I buy it lol

  • I have a small colection myself (200-a 220-k QuickLite-327) I can Believe how hot it got in there I once brewed a full pot of coffee on the top of one!! It was very good too.

  • Awesome video and even better collection. I have a few. I like your Canadian 236 and 335. Are you on the CCF?

  • Nice collection! I have a very simalar collection although not all of mine are in working order. I took some circle hooks and screwed them to the beam in my garage where they all hang. When the power goes out they light the place up pretty well.

  • hi I wonder if u can help me !!

I don't know anything at all in lanterns

I just need one that is very bright I can take with me night fishing on the beach ?!

I have been looking in ebay for one but I can't really understand anything !!

like which is better LED or 'Cree' or fluorescent ??! what is the lumen output ?!

which is better ??! rechargeable or these ones which take mega size batteries ?!

I appreciate if u would help me

  • @euyoooo hi there i do a bit of night fishing and i have a petromax 500cp lantern that runs on parrafin or kerosene as its called in the US ,but is very bright and lasts a long while on 1 tank of fuel. its much better than battery ones as they are not so bright and the battery life isnt so good .petromax have a website and the quality of the lanterns are brilliant ,they are made of brass so they do not rust, they are a bit more pricey than coleman lanterns b.i.m.o they are better for fishing

  • @wombweasel222

  • what is the light difference between 1 mantle and 2 mantle lanterns HELP

  • Nice collection! Is the 335 kersoene? I though I saw a pre-heater cup on it.

  • Go 200A! Ow! Colemans are hawt!

  • do you want sell the red ones?

  • I love coleman lanterns too.I have a couple, thanks for the vid.Joe

  • How bright is that 321C? I have a 321C, and even though the checkvalve doesnt work, I can get quite a bit of pressure into it and still its about as bright as one candle. Any help would be awesome.

  • I thought I was the only one with MORE than one Coleman, sheesh!

  • Not a thing wrong with collecting lanterns! I started collecting old hand drills a few years ago (eggbeater type), but now old Coleman lanterns are getting real interesting to me...nice collection, thanks for sharing!

  • nice collection

  • Love my 200A the best. Just picked up a 220E at a yard sale this summer ($4.00)and it smelled of varnish, oops. Can't get pressure to the mantels though the tank does hold pressure. ???? Anyone got a solution?

  • I have the model 200. There is no A after it and the date stamp is 5/62 (May 1962)?

  • @patchcords You have a Canadian model 200. Americans, had a 200a in 1962

  • Nice video. I used to collect Coleman lanterns myself. I don't know why either.

  • I have an old 237 with a green top and a crome tank made in Canada I took it camping every time I tryed to light it I would have a lot of trouble getting it to start without a hudge flame show what am I doing wrong ? can you do a video showinghow to properly light one . And what can you tell me about my 237

  • I just saw your video... FFFing Great! the only thing I would add is a couple of chicks in bathing suits dancing around the lanterns to that techno beat. A little coleman rave in your garage.

  • Stoves and Lanterns,Stoves and Lanterns, got to love em

  • Great collection. Can you tell me if they are safe in a tent? Do they have any strong oders?

  • i was dign thru my garage and found a 220e how do i turn it on?....

  • how long did it take to light that lot? I like your dog. I've just aquired my first coleman, a 639. I'm on here to try to find out how it works........as it was made around the time i was born!! Nice vid.

  • The 236A and the 335 Easy Light are probably the most interesting lanterns you have. Can you post the production date stamped on the side of the 236 fount and the bottom of the 335 please?

  • Wouldn't it be a 325 Easi-Lite?

  • nice collection i also collect lanterns as i live in england there harder to find i have 5 so far. a northstar/ coleman powerhouse/coleman a gold bond 228h /mini coleman 226 /and a 220j

  • The 321 has Rubber orings in the valve stem. B series and later used that heat shield as well as a back up O ring ( 3 by the time the c was produced ).

    Warning:

The O rings fail, its just a bad design do not light the 321 or the 621 unless you replace them with proper heat resistane o ring. They fail without warning, the fire ball is huge.

  • Great collection, I have 11 Myself. My favorites are like yours the red single mantles 1964 and 66.

  • Nice lanterns... I have the same problem I cant pass up a lantern thats less than $5 at a sale, as well as a unknown desire to collect outboard motors...

  • @mnkelsner Lol, At the outboard motor comment, I know, exactly what you mean, one day I make a vid of my small engine collection.

  • Oh no! Im hooked to! I have over 12 and counting... LOL Do you have a video on how to clean the inside of them if they are not working

  • Brilliant! Someone is going to be popular in a blackout.

  • LoL
