    I've just started squating and can only do 70kg so far (my BW), but the risk injury puts me off pushing past 1.5x my body weight! Its a fantastic exercise though!

  • I admit that if you spread your stance you hit more of the inner thigh and it's harder to squat. But with weight like that, I think theres no need for such a wide stance...

  • For lifting really heavy weights, the more you spread out your stance is, the less distance you have to travel down to the floor during the squat. I guess it was just too much weight for his body to handle.

  • no just partial thickness tears to both ACL and small tears to both Meniscus tendons in the knee. all this supported by results from MRI

  • lol... that is so funny.. no i did not get the lift. It was a strong attempt and i clearly smoked the lift out the whole. just that I may have had issues with my knees that did not know about and it was revealed at the meet.
