I love Montblanc since I first time I' ve play the first Final Fantasy Tactics Advance game. One time, he beat Illua in one shot beacuse Montblanc was a level 99 moogle knight with a black magic ability and Illua was a level 59 nightshade. If you do the math, 99 is greater than 59 and that gives Montblanc the edge.

wait, I don't have FFTA 2 but I do have the first one. Where's Nono? Isn't that Montblanc's brother? Or was there some sort of "Time Paradox" when Marche left in FFTA? Or does Montblanc have more than one brother?

@metalonline123 Montblanc actually has more than 2 brothers (I think, I haven't actually played FF12), Nono just doesn't make an appearance in this game but he does exist as Montblanc's brother meaning Nono is also Hurdy's brother

and about Marche, the world he went to is a fake Ivalice, meaning it has no relation to the things that happen in this Ivalice. In this game you play in the real Ivalice, the same Ivalice as FF12's

@chainofazns Yeah Luso's world is the future of Marche's world, the librarian in Luso's school (I think it's his school?) is Marche's friend Mewt, however the Final Fantasy world that Luso arrives in is a different Final Fantasy world to the one Marche and his friends arrived in in FFTA.

@Kennnn192 actually, the first FFTA is actually in Mewt's Ivalice, which is why it's the fake Ivalice, and hence Marche and everyone else fights in that "fake world" to escape it.

However, Luso went into the real Ivalice. Mewt also probably went there before "creating" the "fake world" (FFTA1) where he is prince .

@chainofazns Um...if you don't mind... The book Mewt purchased was a spell book from the Totema God Li Grim, and it happened that Mewt recieved it. After inciting the words from the book, Mewt shaped his world around Final Fantasy's Ivalice Alliance, the First Final Fantasy Tactics, however that was Mewt's imagination; a place for escapism. The world Luso went to, was the past Ivalice, the original, where he debuted his first appearance. And Yes, "Mr. Randell" is Mewt Randall. =)

I got Al-Cid after I beat the game then I returned to the saved file and looked on the quest post and found a quest for him. Forgot what it was called though.

yeah just did it today. its a rank 62 mission but theyre all lv 40. you have to defeat al-cid and his other 5 recruits are Vieras. the judges rule is not to harm vieras. simple just focus your attacks on al-cid and you win. it was pretty easy all my units were lv 65.

it was "a dashing duel" i guess. and yeah he's cool. im glad he got a chance to shine in this game when he couldnt in FFXII. i find his flourish and reckless abandon abilities very useful. some of the others involve having to get close to the unit to initiate it
