Talat Mahmood sang Yeh Hawa Yeh Raat Yeh Chandni in the same tune for Sajjad Hussain whereas Rafi sang this for Madan Mohan. Whose is a better song ? Both are good their own way. Talat's song is silky soft rendered in his inimitable velvety voice. Rafi brought out pathos so well in his song. Who can bring out pathos better than Rafi ? No one, of course. Devotion, Love, Pathos, Fun, Mischief...all these expressions were beautifully brought out by Rafi the best.
