  • The moai of Easter Island are invading.

  • BioShock: Infinite, anyone?

  • this song makes me want to invade poland.

  • NORTH KOREA IS BEST KOREA.

  • well, off to invade a country

  • this song sounds like a military march

  • This sounds exactly like the tune that is hummed in episode 20. Does anyone know where I can find that song or what it's called?

  • @ParadoxicalVisual You're listening to it.

  • @ParadoxicalVisual This is that song, and as the Title says, it is "Flag" on the Soundtrack album.

  • Producer says, This is Scat_singing.

    Its a Europien image in japanese.

    Free,Liberty,Justice.something.Stereotype. Not meaning.

  • It is conspicuous to call it the stage which the angel made just because the meaningless word was sung.

  • I am a Japanese.

    I feel that the famous word which the feeling in the Japanese EU and U.S. area and Japanese people know is put in order for this music.

    lyrics for the dub:

    1:11~ March to our free(自由の為に起て)

    ~~~~Amazing grace .
    reverse to rebuilding liberty!
  • One of the biggest conflicts within the series is between Paradigm City (a representation of New York, the heart of America, the Big Apple which coincedentally often resembles a tomato) and the Union (a symbol of international anti-American sentiment). I think the Union in the series is the European Union and foreigners left out in the making of the domes existing after the Event, the Apocalypse. Vera, Angel, they were all spies serving the best interest of the foreign entities, seeking revenge
  • Fallout 3 Enclave radio, anyone?
  • kinda song you want to play when you walk out of your room with ALL the fuk#$%%& homework done :)
  • To me it's seems paradigm is new York and the union is bits and pieces of Europe mostly french people who have found megadeuces and took them to paradigm to form Bonaparte and destroy the city but failed at doing so
  • I'm guessing the music was made in Japan though... maybe
  • They're singing a song of angry men!
  • That middle megadeuce is disturbing me
  • @karrrido
    Then it's doing its job.
  • @karrrido yea it is but least its not like the one in the in the under ground ep. of big o that thing let alone freaky.
  • @ownerfate You mean the Archetype?
  • @GhostPlanetFilms yeah thats the one.
  • imagine a bunch of japanese people singing this, haha
  • @isaacopedal This is not japanese more like a french tune.
  • Allons enfants de la Patrie,
    Le jour de gloire est arrivé !...wait, wrong song.
  • DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT LANGUAGE THIS IS SUNG IN? LATIN?
  • @ZEROEVILDARKCOOL
    It's English, pal.
  • BUY YOUR WAR BONDS TODAY!
  • "Take up the throne with utter (?);
    March on their impure blood and stand to our feet
    Sacred love for the fatherland,
    Lead and support our avenging hands
    Liberty cherished harmony!
    Come with me to defend us under our flag;
    Let victory hurry to your manly tone!"
  • @GhostPlanetFilms I think it would have been better if they replaced that with better lyrics for the dub:
    "Raise up our flag and bear your arms,
    Stand up from your fallen farms and join in our cause;
    With sacred love for the fatherland,
    Fight against all tyrants and reform their laws.
    A battlecry for Liberty!
    Sing with perfect harmony!
    We will raise our flag again,
    or in death, we will live in History!"
  • @dorkandproudofit Great writing!
  • @dorkandproudofit Go look up "La Marseillaise" (French National Anthem) on the top suggestion bin. Read the English-translated lyrics. Trust me; you might just see a similarity in this song and that.
  • @GhostPlanetFilms And thank you for solving a 5 year long question, that GOOGLE failed to provide.
  • @eduardoapadron Ur welcome!
    (which question, exactly?)
  • I'm hearing "God Save the Queen" in there.
  • @Ninox37 It's more of a pastiche.
  • My second favorite track aside from "The Great."
  • down with globalism...let freedom ring!
  • The Union?
  • @SR71ABCD They are a secret party from a foreign country (obviously France.) Their goal was to destroy Paradigm and take the memories for themselves.
  • VIVA LA FRANCE!
    Seriously, the resemblance is uncanny.
  • @RevonZZ The robots are heavily implied to be French in origin.
  • Urrrgh, the french...
  • This song is stuck in my head... so I can't stop playing it
  • All the big o ost are so classy, i love em all
  • Now I feel like going and watching an old WWII documentary...
  • And I guess the end is "let victory hurry to your manly tone!" a strange-sounding (yet common) English translation of "que la victoire accoure à tes males accents!"
    As for the first part I can't understand, I feel pretty certain it is a partial mixed-up semi-translation of the following lines from La Marseillaise:
    "Aux armes, citoyens!
    Formez vos bataillons!
    Marchons! Marchons!
    Qu’un sang impur
    *Abreuve nos sillons!
    Amour sacré de la patrie"
  • @Irrenmann
    indeed,"let victory hurry to your manly tone!" sounds at 1:38^^!
    and this song looks like French National Anthem very much~xD
  • Wait I caught a whole line there. It's: "Sacred love for the fatherland, lead and support our avenging hands"
    After "Liberty, cherished liberty" the translation they seemed to be working from says "Join the struggle with your defenders," but it sounds to me more like they just didn't translate that part from the French and the singers in this are saying "Combats avec tes défenseurs." (But at first I thought they were saying "come with me to defend us." Still not sure.)
  • @Irrenmann I'm trying to make out what they say first line. It seems like they say "Take up the throne with utter" and then I can't make out what they're saying after that :P
  • I can only understand a small portion of the lyrics. "Take up the throne," "stand to our feet," "lead us all to (something)," "avenging hands," "Liberty, cherished liberty, come with me to defend us, under our flag, let victory (something)"
    Adult Swim's captions were just someone's best guess, so while they might be interesting, they are not an authoritative source
    At least I was able to figure out all the words to "Prayer" :)
  • @Irrenmann
    thank u for ur comment!!but i haven't understood them all x(
    is it such feeling when bringing it together?
    "Take up the throne (something) and to our feet
    Sacred love for the fatherland lead and support our avenging hands
    Liberty cherished liberty come with me to defend us under our flag (something)
    Combats avec tes défenseurs (come with me to defend us ) "
  • @Irrenmann What are the Lyrics to Prayer? It's such a beautiful piece. The only part of prayer I can really make out is the end when it sounds like they are saying ''forever, and ever.'' And I could still be off. Any idea?
  • @ReignOfBrood Yes. It's mostly a strange translation of Revelation 22. I put what I could get of it on a YouTube video of the song: /watch?v=qdiwWdqLgcY
  • 誰か歌詞を書いてくれ!!!
    Someone, please write lyrics!!!
  • LA RESSISTANCE!
  • For those who have watched both the big o and code geass in your opinion which would win in battle mega deus or knighmare ?
  • @BARONSCHWARZWALD Knightmare! :D at least to me, they are a lot more mobile, and are effin awesome!
  • A heroic theme, but it used on multiple occassions in the show for scenes that I myself didn't think fit right.
  • all power to the constitutional republic...because that's what america is, not a democracy...do the research!
  • what was the title of the song you hered in that class?
  • That sound like the french flag i reconise the music from my french class in secondary school but the singing is in english. how weried.
  • i heard somewhere the lyrics are in english.
  • The robot in the middle reminds me of a really, really screwed up version of Giant Robo for some reason.
    The one the right looks like screwed GR-2 as well.
  • I suddenly have the urge to invade Poland......
  • nice
  • @T1618 Epic win?
  • @T1618 No fuckin' shit.
  • does anyone know the lyrics?
  • Reminds me of La Marseillaise.
  • Well you should since it is based off of it, the party might be the remains of the French in The Big O
  • it would make sense, the triple-combination of the 3 megadeuses is called bonaparte. Of course, it seems Union may just be the combination of Old Europe
