Also, if a video shows you are innocent for something, even if its not allowed in court, the jury might still see it and because of their exposure to the video might look for any other valid reason to rule in regards to the video.

I used to work for Checkpoint A Security before TSA. From my experience, I worked hard to maintain a safe flight. However, watching this video it shames me to see the consequences of this situation. John, kudos to you. Handled with respect, patience and courtesy. I applaud your actions in that given situation, and hope that the people who see this video and lear from you.

I flew from New Zealand to Australia, my two sons and I went through 6 scans on the way - one son had a pair of metal scissors in his backpack detected and were taken away. The other son had an identical set of metal scissors approx 6 inches long, in his backpack he got all the way there AND all the way home without being pulled up !!!!! - Go figure, at one airport the security guards had their backs to the scanner as his bags went through - Security Yeah Right !!
US airports are NOT required to have TSA-holes. The 2001 law creating TSA gave airports the right to opt out of the TSA program in favor of private screeners after a 2-year period. Customers should be placing pressure on the airlines to pressure the airports to OPT OUT OF TSA. Call your airline!!!

That he refused a body scan based on "random search" and left the airport when asked?
Its just bully tactics to get you to conform to whatever is the current norm.
Hes actually smart that started to film because who knows what the airport would write in their reports with police and other people as "witnesses" to their said. Technically its word against word, because there are only two sides represented with multiple people,but officers word is usually valued more.

It will still show people what really happened and that the important part if the company choose to lie and try to make the guy look like a trouble maker and give him all the blame publicly. Also, public opinion dosent care what works in court or not.
Also, if a video shows you are innocent for something, even if its not allowed in court, the jury might still see it and because of their exposure to the video might look for any other valid reason to rule in regards to the video.

Just because "they" didn't cause a scene and he only said reasonable sounding things (on video) doesn't mean he was right. It also doesn't mean they were right. (shhh...p.s. many things we choose to do every f-ing day seem "unnecessarily difficult"... but we still work all day, take the kids to their stuff, attend school, go to extra meetings, buy groceries and luxuries,let folks touch our junk (flying or not ;), cook dinner, do the crossword, solve the puzzle on "Wheel"...)

There comes a point - probably now - when security is pretty sound and no-one will be able to cause serious threats to aircraft. I used to work for Checkpoint A Security before TSA. From my experience, I worked hard to maintain a safe flight. However, watching this video it shames me to see the consequences of this situation. John, kudos to you. Handled with respect, patience and courtesy. I applaud your actions in that given situation, and hope that the people who see this video and lear from you.

I flew from New Zealand to Australia, my two sons and I went through 6 scans on the way - one son had a pair of metal scissors in his backpack detected and were taken away. The other son had an identical set of metal scissors approx 6 inches long, in his backpack he got all the way there AND all the way home without being pulled up !!!!! - Go figure, at one airport the security guards had their backs to the scanner as his bags went through - Security Yeah Right !!

US airports are NOT required to have TSA-holes. The 2001 law creating TSA gave airports the right to opt out of the TSA program in favor of private screeners after a 2-year period. Customers should be placing pressure on the airlines to pressure the airports to OPT OUT OF TSA. Call your airline!!!

Ok while I respect the man for opting out and asserting his rights I really have to wonder. Why was he recording this? I was redirected here from infowars and didn't see the reason he was listed in the article so it really does raise the question of "Why he was recording something as ordinary as security check point." Don't get me wrong, I don't believe what they did is right but recording it just seems a bit fishy or that he was looking for trouble.

I like how so many people here posting would allow themselves to have their genitals felt up by some random stranger. We all know this new security was implemented because of the famously failed underwear bomber. Even if they patted him down, if you had flammable underwear, they couldn't tell by groping you.
