  • Very good!, Construction of sound patterns typical of this instrument!, With a beginning, middle and end, well executed!

  • hi there gr8 snd but its not house expect the beat itself ;)

  • the comments under the kaossilator videos show that some people have no clue what they are buyng there. This is a cool little toy for musicians, but for a few amatuers it might get a little frustrating money spend.

So please dont give up even if there is nothing really groovy coming out, put some time in it and that thing can bring you a whole lot of fun!

  • this is awesome dude nice job!

  • sounds like me takin a shit!! nice tho

  • love your guitar

  • oh ! THE MAGIC HANDS !

  • COOL

  • can someone please tell me what you have to connect the line out to!!! i am confused as fuck!!!

  • A speaker

  • @israeliguitar hey so im planning on purchasing on of these in the near future. do u know if you could use a couple of stylus pens to tap on it like there drum sticks to make sick drum beats? cuz i feel like it be sharper and more clear to tap with those rather than your fingers

  • You could use that but there is absolutely no need for the drum kits as every one of those has 4 different drum sounds, one on every quarter, so there is no chance you'll miss it. The only reason why you might want to use those is when you are trying to play really precise notes on a scale. In any case, buy the Kaossilator first and then decide.

You can see another video I made playing Always with me always with you of Joe Satriani with the Kaossilator. This is the most precise I could be.

  • @thehumaneyeball

I hooked mine up to my Mac Book

  • @thehumaneyeball connect your eyeballs to the user manual....

  • awesome, a little reminicant of animal collective at first, great job!

  • This is brilliant! Are you able to connect the Kaossilater to the computer to record your songs? Please help!

  • Thanks,

I don't exactly know what you mean by connecting it to the computer.

It has only normal audio jack output so... with a good audio card I believe that yes.

  • @TheCoBFace Yes, use the line out to connect to your sequencer program in your computer and edit from there! See the track 'DARK TRANCE' in my videos, it was all done on the Kaossilator!

    ;-)

  • @ShoppingBargains

What sequencer program should I use?

  • @TheCoBFace You could try... Propellerhead Reason 4 software

...but there are many. Try a google search!

    ;-)

  • @TheCoBFace yes it has 2 line outs on top

  • @TheCoBFace you could use the line out into a line in on your computer on most any modern computer, or into a dedicated recording interface with a line in.

  • @TheCoBFace you can but you need software to play it back onto your computer with... im guessing you need a mic cord from the output to the imput on your computer

  • Nice for a rainy day. Trust me ! I know what i say

  • Is it posable to meake break beats with that??

  • Wow! That is a pretty cool instrument.. I totally want to play with one now..

    cheers

  • Sounds like a problem.

I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact you've used it only with headphones.

    Send it back to Korg

  • @krazydave2 maybe you've got the KPmini! ;)

  • okaly dokaly!

    thanks for everything!

  • cool thanks

    but ya know this video

kaossilator vs. sustainer - bellamy(muse) kaoss guitar style.

the guy in it is using it but is it going into a separate amp or something.. i tried asking him but he hasn't replied yet??

  • Yes I know that awful awful video.

It's the same Kaossilator, not connected to the guitar in any way beside being glued to it. Again, check the KP-mini.

  • hi

is the input just jack leads?

    could it be used:

    guitar--kaossilator--effects pedal--amp?

    cheers!

  • As you can see only output jacks, no input. You can't plug it into anything.

The guitar here is only as a table. :)

What you are thinking of from this series is the Korg KP-mini.

    Look for it on YouTube.

    Good luck to you.

  • whats the black cable for that is pluged into it?

  • yeh tiz the exakt same as evri1 elsez same price just no cables :S very confuzing

  • It doesnt come with any cables. You have to buy them

  • can u hook this shit up to an adapter or does it only run on batteries?

  • On this video the is alreay connected to an shitty adapter.
