oh my gosh..when i was younger i saw this movie and i remembered the scene of this couple buying hot dogs and the guy was with a light shaded beard for life but i never knew the name of the movie until now when i saw it here. it's addicted to love. i've heard of this movie but i never thought that was the movie ive been looking for and i was too young to remember or even know the actors/actresses for that matter of fact.YAYY!!!

Yes, that happens a lot, doesn't it? Everyone at some point remembers a part of a movie, without knowing the name and it drives you crazy. Same thing happened to me with a movie "For the Love of Grace".

The only thing I remembered was that the firefighter rescued her from the burning house and that she had a boyfriend (which is not enough, of course - lol)

Yes, you're right, 'dear John' is a nice movie (only just came out in 2010) and it's something like Notebook, so if u (by that I mean anyone) liked Notebook, u will love this one. :-) I like movies with lot of action, so I'd give this movie (Dear John) perhaps 6/10, but that's just me. It's a really nice movie though and Channing is great! :-)
