Everybody, stop with this BS about TOTP "making" bands lip-sync. Hate to do this (not really), but BSB always sang live at TOTP (and yes, they performed through heavy choreography too).

Another thing - when Nsync performed I Want It That Way and Tearin Up My Heart on TOTP, they did it LIVE and they did it WELL! They CAN sing live (even while dancing), so there is no excuse for this performance.

@heroyoon I really don't get why NSync fans hate on Justin so much. He has a hugely successful career on his own that he's worked hard for. All the members attempted solo careers, but he worked the hardest. Besides, they're all happy now, whether it's still in the business or quietly starting a family. I love *N Sync, but there are several indicators that this is not performed live:

1. Previous comments about TOTP

2. The fact that Justin and JC's voices and performance styles do not sound consistent with other live performances (for ex. JT always goes "Uh" or something after the first chorus, and JC never sings that high note live).

3. JT does not sing melody live, he usually sings harmony while JC and Joey Fatone are melody.

4. JT's voice echoes at :45 and 1:32.

5. No backup band.

in reply to 86hunni, I read an interview where Justin said that N Sync would lip sync if there was a heavy dance routine, in fact he said its not exactly lip syncing because they would play the original in the background and will be singing live as well so that the sound is thicker and nicer. But in any case try not to believe everything u read. I LOVE N Sync, and the image they maintained (JC even now). But when it comes to interviews...you cant really expect anyone to be 100% honest everytime.
