  • The two year difference between the 1980 gigs and this one really shows..

  • My mind is set. Talking heads rock!

  • @kittensaresocute1 Talking Heads DO rock....That is why my name is TalkingHeadsRock !

  • @TalkingHeadsRock right. this must be the place is the best song from talking heads though.

  • @kittensaresocute1 They are all so good I don't think I can pick a best song. David's solo stuff is amazing as well.

Even Jerry Harrison has a few AMAZING songs. Did you ever hear "Man With A Gun" by Jerry Harrison? If not check it out.

  • @TalkingHeadsRock check out the great intoxication live at union chapel. That song is absolutly beautiful especially from 2:45 till the end

  • @kittensaresocute1 Hey sorry about the slow reply. I just got your e-mail 3 weeks later for some reason. Oh yes, that DB song rocks as well. You ever want to talk about talking heads, tom tom club, Jerry Harrison, or David send me a message. I know just about everything about them and heard about everything they did. I even have some rare videos and rare picture disks.

  • @TalkingHeadsRock yes and "the red and the black" has some great stuff on it... jerry h. was instrumental to making the "remain in light" sound.

  • @kittensaresocute1

Hard to say a best, but that baby is never out of my top 5

  • @kittensaresocute1 haha this must be the place isn't their best song, Id say crosseyed and painless, or Uh oh Love comes to town, or Dont worry about the government, or Found a job, or Pulled up, or the great curve. Oh and cities.

  • everything seems to be up in the air when I hear this song

  • I have the "Stop Making Sense" DVD and "Live at Union Chapel". Now I am seeking more. Not much luck with web searches. Tips for finding Talking Heads concert DVDs are appreciated.

  • The version from The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads is far superior.

  • the more i hear this song, the more i like it.

  • Me too. It's my favorite TH so far. Closely followed by "A Clean Break."

  • "throw that love awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!"

  • I must have watched this and listened to the 2 versions via Rhapsody 100+ times since finding it a few weeks ago. It describes my marriage. Goes along with the SuperTramp ring tone I have, Casual Conversations, "It doesn't matter what I say, you never listen anyway..."! Coming up on 30 years, I could use "A Clean Break" too.
