I was playing this game after not playing it for I have no idea how long and the opportunity to perfect this came up. I gave it a shot and within the first half second I'd lost my perfect. Within the first three I probably lost a superb. In five I lost hope and shut the game off.

me too!! i can also remember any song in this game just by the first word and if it has a 2 at the end of it. I REMEMBER ALL OF THIS GAME!! even the tunes in the minigames. Even the order of ladyies you try to consol with glss tapping it starts with human, the alien, then robot, and so on so on

It's the sound of the soccer ball flying onto the screen.

That's done before the scene changes but you can still hear the sound to prepare. It's sort of hard, but once you memorize the order of the song, it's not a problem.

That's true, but that results in a lot of retries. Of all the remixes, this one is one of the hardest to get just right on the first run.

@TarvusDrake Being that it's a rhythm game, of course it always helps to have the volume all the way up. But in the case of this remix, headphones are very helpful. You hear the cue very clearly then, as I recently learned.
