I did the live sound for How We Live at the Half Moon in London 1980something.... They were a great band, they gave me a CD which I still have,,Steve is a talented guy and from Kendal...same as me...must be the mint cake !! ;-)

He used to be a singer in a band called HOW WE LIVE, whos only album was a flop.

After FISH left Marillion in 1988, he joined and took over. They've since released 11 albums with him, and he's also released a solo album and a live DVD :)

His best albums with Marillion (In my opinion) are MARBLES, BRAVE and THIS STRANGE ENGINE.

..just to add: He was keyboarder/singer in the 80ies in a very hot band called 'Europeans'. They did two records & a live recorc. One of the best band from this period. In Glasgow, Simple Minds got world stars, The Europeans didn't unfortunately although they had the talent and the song-writing for it.

Fish was awesome and Misplaced Childhood will always be one of my favorite albums. I never listened to Marillion after Fish but I might check 'em out after hearing this. Hogarth has a amazing voice and this is a excellent and unique version of Whole of the Moon.
