The way I interpret this:

VY2 loves somebody but knows that she [VY1] doesn't love him back, so he's trying to forget about her. He feels that it's his fault that he's in love with her and it hurts to know that it's one-sided.

Afters she finally disappears from his life, he realizes that the painful love didn't disappear with her and it's still something he has to deal with forever. Love doesn't fade away overnight.

Actually, this song has an extra dynamic that these lyrics don't mention. The entire song makes a play on words that comapares VY1 to a canker sore (konaien). VY1 says "konaide," which can translate to "don't come" but can also mean "in the mouth." It totally makes sense to read the lyrics in that context, too! I think it's really interesting that the creator could make such a metaphor for a broken romace.

What I thought this song was about was a boy (vy2) loving a girl (vy1) a lot, and thinks vy1 loves him too in the beginning and relies on her for help and support, but she's actually just messing with vy2's mind, making him think that she cares. Vy2 is stuck in a position he shouldn't be in: fake love.

OR: A boy is depressed and hurting himself and wants help, but at the same time doesn't want people to know he's hurting himself. He taunts himself in his mind he'll eventually find help.

My interpretation is this: Yuma's trying to deal with depression and the related disorders(Like Anxiety). He likens the depression to pain, and is also inflicting pain upon himself as a way to try and lessen the pain. Yuma wants to tell someone about how he's feeling so he can get help, but he begins hallucinating that someone's(VY1) telling him that there's nothing wrong with him, and that Yuma's just crying for attention and that he should try to act normal so as not to stir up trouble.(C)

VY1 mocks him during this breakdown, telling him he had the right idea and that if he had ignored it(C)

Apparently Yuma became so used to VY1's pressence that he finds himself hurting again because she's not there, dispite the fact his depression's gone.

From how I see it, VY2 cares for someone, but VY1, who plays more of his self-conscious/pain in this, tells him to stay away from this person to not get hurt. So that's what he does. Deep down he realizes that it's hurting him to push them away but continues to do so. Eventually, the person leaves him and at first feels like he should be happy, but then realizes how much that person meant to him and is overwhelmed with pain. Overall, this song is telling you not to push away the people you love.

All I can think is that VY2 is a computer who has a virus (VY1) and suffers from it quietly because his owner doesn't have an anti-virus program installed and is unaware. At first I thought it was VY2 being rejected by VY1, but now it seems like VY2 was not only rejected by her, but he went crazy for her. She tried to get him to ignore the pain of rejection, and while he at first accepts that, he soon counters with, "I can ignore it, but it'll always be there." Frustrated with him now, VY1 just leaves so he'll get over her, but his pain still lingers after she's gone.

I think it's about how VY2 has an imaginary friend (VY1) and he knows she isn't real but she doesn't leave him alone, and VY2 starts to feel pain and fear every time she's around. So he tries and tries to wish her away, then when she finally does leave he feels empty and lonely.

The lyrics sound to me more like internal conflict, with VY1 acting as subconscious thoughts and VY2 as the person's response to those thoughts. Most of VY1's lines aren't exactly nice, yeah, but it sounds more like "I have am flinging hate at myself because reasons" than "I don't love you, bugger off" to me.
