Amin.

  • aww..takes me back to india :( miss it! btw..those hands got some mad skills...awesome!!! :D

  • umm just wondering.. why can't we spread millet flour dove with a rolling pin? is it important to spread it out with our bare hands?

  • @moonjannatstar you cannot use rolling pin because the dough easily breaks and also dough is much wet. In fact my mother used to do entire flattening process with hands only and she never used the plate as shown in video. It is an art. Shaping with hands too is hard. Dough starts breaking up.

  • wowww she's got some serious bhakri making skills.. i am impressed. she made such nice beautifull round bhakris.

  • Thanks for the informative video!

  • where is the recipe please??

  • hmmm....looks mighty tasty these bhakris,....millet, is the round kernels, some white, some red, that are sold in birdseed,.....but where could we get the grain? thank you very much for sharin' this most interestin' video,5/5!

  • if you are in the US go to your local health food store or stores like Whole Foods or Trader Joes. look in the bulk section for millet.

  • Thanx for the info,....actually i'm in mexico but its a help, this way i know what website to check out! = )

  • @qualqui Bajra is Indian Millet which is different from Millet that you may be familiar with. Flour is cement colored and dough is mud colored and flat bread is also inside mud colored, with outside a shade lighter. You can buy Bajra Flour from Indian grocery stores.

  • @einsteinwallah2 thanx for the info,...luvin' these Indian vittles! = )
