Lying to Parv was a good strategy and probably could've worked in their favor if the rest of her tribe didn't try to align with Russell.

The problem with amanda is that she is a good person and you can't be good in survivor. The right choice were to kept the idol away from Danielle or tell her to read the clue right there. You can be "fair" in survivor it is a game and all is valid but when you let your emotions get you like she did you are out of the game ;).

I want to see her now as part of the Jury. She is one of my favorites girls and I hope they invite her again for a future season.

@ndonadio Disagree, Amanda clearly knows how to play people if she made the finales twice. Her downfall this season is that the same as J.T's no one to really work with and bounce ideas off of. @John162708: Both times Amanda was the follower in her alliance and her game plan was the same on both seasons. Stay with her alliance reach the final four and then win the immunities. She won the 2 last IC in the 2 seasons that she reached the final TC but she have always been a bad liar because looks like she is a good person and let her emotions get in the middle of the game because she cares about the other players.

In China, she was just as strategic as Todd and behind one of the best blindsides in the show's history. In Micronesia after the Ozzy disaster she made an amazing comeback with the HII and gained a top position in the final alliance. I'll once again argue that a Survivor player is only as good as their wingman.

@thegov08 Well note how I didn't mention James and Rupert in my comment. Keeping those two around makes sense because they are blindly loyal to their one group, you need those two as a secure vote. Candice is too inconsistent to keep around for a long period of time and Colby's a bigger dud here then he was in the 1st All-Stars. Also Amanda had an alliance with Cirie, it was J.T who knocked her off with the idol, so she had the right idea.

@bobnfriends As for Tom, the J.T and Russell situations are two entirely different things. J.T was a possible partnership that just fell through, he was never surprised that J.T flipped. With Russell, Tom would have been level-headed enough to at least argue the setbacks to giving a player you know nothing about an HII. It may not have worked but with him and Cirie together, someone would have gotten through to them.
