Muito bom cara e esse teu setup ai é animal. Só deu uma acelerada ai no metallica, mas nada de mais, eu sei o que é essa adrenalina hehehe.. Mas bacana ainda foi os timbres que você conseguiu tirar no BFD, timbres perfeito para cada música, a caixa dos Peppers e aquele "Surdão " lá no Metallica. Das peças da batera para o módulo via cabos midi, e do módulo sai apenas um cabo midi/usb para o computador? a configuração dos kits de batera para os pads escolhidos é fácil de configurar? esse cabo "prelude" (interface midi/usb a venda no mercado livre) pode ser usado para essa função?

dtxplorer and I bought a midi to usb interface from guitar center for $30.00 and it works perfectly..your not using the sounds off the brain anyway so just buy the cheap kit

i need to record each mic separately so i want to buy an Alesis Multimix 12 firewire, will it do what i need it to? i.e. all drum mics and maybe to guitar cables and set them into the computer (or my case mac) and be able to edit each one separately?

nah, this thing is a lot bigger than SSD. And it has got more mixer. Don't get me wrong, SSD is very good though it's smaller. SSD is more compare to AD.While BFD2 compares to SD2.0 and OWD

BTW, still more like Metal Foundry. lol

I have the most experience with slate and my results are of way higher quality. I obviously prefer my acoustic kit but only if I'm able to record in a sound environment. The overall depth and warmth i can get with slate make it an acceptable #2 to my kit.

To connect MIDI in Firewire, I believe that Firewire Solo from M-Audio is a cheap option. I use Delta 1010 LT PCI Card and latency is insignificant.

I am very interested in geting an electronic kit like yours a TD 12 for recording and for Live Electronic Music that I am doing with my friend. Could you tell me how you put together the system I mean the midi interface with the drums, the mixer, and cubase! Could I use Logic Pro or Ableton live!!! instead of Cubase? Tel me what should I buy in order to be able to have the Roland TD 12 pluged in to BFD 2 software? Thanx a lot

Well, you can use any MIDI interface. It could be a sound card with a MIDI input, like Audiophile 2496 or even a USB-MIDI cable such as UNO, both M-Audio. I use a Delta 1010 LT. They are all compatible with Pro Tools and Ableton Live. Thanks!

can BFD2 be used as a drum machine? I am a guitarist and i want a really good drum program that lets me arrange beats on the computer so i can film instructional videos and record parts for my band. Can bfd2 be used like that or is it only linked to drumsets?

BFD2 already has an internal MIDI sequencer, With prompt several loops of several rhythms. However it is possible to write your own loops without a drum machine, just using BFD2. The sound quality will be the same as the video and you'll be able to use it as an accompaniment. Good luck!

Eu sou brasileiro também. É que como tem muito gringo comentando, acabei colocando muita coisa em inglês :)

Então, os sons do BFD2 já são perfeitos, mas a sacada é mesmo aprender mixar usando o próprio mixer do programa, que já tem todas as ferramentas. Aliás esse vídeo é "resposta" a um vídeo oficial do BFD2 que ensina como mixar. Dá uma olhadinha.

I mean if I want to make a songs drum part can i make it with this? you know save it in waw. than play the guitar upon it. you know what I mean. Make drum with all the freedom. Well, you can use any MIDI sequencer to write your drums and then use BFD2 sounds to read it. But BFD2 itself already has an internal sequencer in which you can create your drum grooves and export it as audio so you can record or play along with your guitars

EZDrummer works just like BFD2, send your MIDI 2 it from a sequencer like logic and it interprets the data to trigger samples. The samples in EZ drummer are in fact not audio at all, just MIDI patterns that trigger the sounds. However, the sounds in EZDrummer suck compared to BFD so i would recommend making the investment you want to create studio quality music. The expansion packs used in this vid r particularly good as they were recorded and processed by great engineers using a Neve console.
