People Listen...Make sure you don't encounter any problems when you buy any products from Cakewalk / SONAR; whatever; because their so called " CUSTOMER SERVICE " will fail you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..trust me, I've just experienced it, so I'm just informing others..
@deltechno it seems to be a trend. I had a few companies tell me that a product could not do something. Later on I figure it out that is could do what I wanted to do. Tech service and customer service was bad but, I have to say I never had a problem with cakewalk
@maltcus I wish I had that same situation as yours, but I don't..Calling for help from 1 place to another without a clear answer is a real pain in the ***, when I've spent several franklins to buy a product I can't even use...
@deltechno dahm but, I do know how you feel. Emu told me my soundcard could not s/diff out but it has a s/pdiff out connection. I asked him well why in the hell is it on there. He was sooo dumb. I got it straight on my own after like weeks of messing with it. It was a easy solution but, if u dont know u dont know and u expect the makers of the product to tell u.
I'v got two of these, one for at work, one for my home studio. this thing is the best. Sonar 8.5 is great. that digi design/ pro tools crap is over rated. i know, used to be a pro toos user. now its all roland/cakewalk baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wz good, Brandon. Do you have a Facebook Page..? I Wanted to request for your friendship but couldn't find you through the search engine. If you dont mind, hit me with your Facebook url in my inbox, I'll surely appreciate it. Because I'm thinking about getting the (Cakewalk SONAR V-Studio 700) in a couple of weeks... If you rather request my facebook friendship, mines is (facebook.com/speed910)....
Wouldn't a PCI interface be less latency and more quiet than USB 2.0..that is the thing i am a little skeptical about..otherwise seems like a great setup..
I have 2 BCF-2000s and a MOTU 828mkii, @ $1200. Add a Tranzport (which I want) for @ $1400. Not as good, certainly, but a lot less than $5k . I'd love the tight integration with Sonar, but I just can't afford it right now.
Does this work with a M-Audio Axiom pro 49 midi controller

They're about 1/3 the cost of the alternatives.
Control surface and interface should only be about $5000
