hey verry nice song! i play for about 2 years now and Nothing else matters was aslo 1 of my first songs. its nicely calm and the girls like it. i only need to say, practice on the solo it needs to be a bit more floing. maybe use some les distortion (wich is posible on a line 6 (spider3?). Well mine is a pretty rare Japanese one, the Squier factory was located in Japan in the '80ies and made guitar of very good quality then. But then they moved to China and the guitars turned into cheap crap.. so yeah.. I heard some Korean's are very good too. Just play the guitar and see how it feels and plays, don't judge it by brand.

As i was playing along with you i noticed 2 things:

1) how can someone your age and of the opposite sex play so nice.

2) The second part of the chorus with the jumping baseline is it is exactly the same as the first part, check your tabs they should be different.

The song took me about 3 months, but I learned every part almost seperate with weeks if not months in between, I remember learning the intro in the summer which took me about 4 weeks to completely get I think. The solo took me 4 weeks or something too I think since it was my first solo the rest of the song I got down in a few days.
