Red, white and black same as mine - Mivv GP's on the back - just love this bike - took the plunge over a year ago away from sportsbikes - just does everything and hunt's down GXSR's, ZX's, R's and Blades on sight - never leant a bike over so far on a trackday - grinning like a Cheshire cat everytime I ride her - the 1200 Dorduroso looks a tidy bit of kit as does RSV4 Tuono - just need that lottery win or Biaggi to feel generous and buy me one!
I have had an 07 tuono from brand new for 2 years now. She is the fifth sports bike i've owned. I've owned a Triumph Daytona, a couple of GSXR's and a couple of RGV'S. I've ridden pretty much all the range of sports bikes out there at one stage or another. The Tuono is by far the best. And also the naughtiest
After owning an Aprilia then going back to Suzuki, it made me realize why I left the Japanese disposable feeling bikes alone in the first place. I'm back on an Aprilia Futura again and adding a Tuono the the stall soon.
i would disagree - look at the components (because i know the line best) on a Ducati (Ohlins - Marchesini etc) and price it out on say the R1 Yammy - the Yammy breaks the bank with the added components that are stock on the italian bikes!
Italian bikes... more expensive than stock J bikes; yes - better value when you compare component to component; absolutely!
well the FZ1 does have more power and is cheaper but definitely does not handle better. You'll look like every squidly wannabe on the road too. The Duke is nice also, good suspension, less power, still a hoot of a ride.
a great bike - look at the KTM 990 superduke as well - more fun than the tuono - but not as good for longer rides -I know - I own both (The KTM costs about the same)
The Tuono is in a class all it's own; no ass burning under tail exhaust, just tons of soulfull style and athletisism. The video makes me drool! Where's my helmet!
i just get my tuono 10 days ago!!!!!

I rode the 2004, and it's by far the greatest motorcycle I've ever ridden. It's scary powerful, and one hell of a ride.

Looking to change my Vrod for one of these here in the UK, an 09 plate. Is it worth it mate??
turdbandit 2 years ago
@turdbandit
Yeah... If you fancy streetfighter style - more agile, more powerful and much more faster than Vrod :)

TBH you'll get the most bang for your buck on a Japanese bike but Italian bikes are sex!

If you're looking for a naked performance bike you'd be hard pressed to beat it. Yes, it's easily worth the $ IMO.

As good a bike as it is, I don't think you can use the words 'Tuono' and 'style' in the same sentence. It's ugly as fook! Lovely tail-piece though.
husky041 4 years ago
I agree that it is not stylish. But it has an aura of its own. It s lean, mean and sort of like "watch out or ill break your legs."

COOL! Does Samuela give riding lessons to ageing rider wannabes? Maybe if I bought a Tuono? Maybe if I bought a Tuono and went to Italy?
