both ST and GT got the 3S-FE engine after 1986 with 115hp

the GT-S got the 3S-GE with 145? hp

my 87' celica gt-s with the 3sge was clocked at 221 km and that was slowing down when I saw the cop and was given a hefty ticket. I think your celica is a bag of poo if that\'s all it can do :P for crying out loud, my ex's neon was able to go faster lmao

@Steu022 yeah i think his is like a base model, i got a st-162 celica gts with the 2000 twim cam, and easily i did over 200, ran outa road couldnt go faster but it was climbing fast still, getting it straight piped and a nice LOUD muffle LOL, anyway, yeah my celica goes all the way up too 220 klm on the dash i belive

I've got the great ST205, and I have to say, that, without the WRC specs on it, the car pulls a steady 140 like it were nothing.

I guess that must have been a GT or ST model. I had a GTS and the speedo went to 240kmh. I got it up just a little over 230kmh at 6300rpm. That was fun.

my 1990 celica gt is only 125bhp, the older gt's would be less plus alot of bhp would of be lost over the years but ive had mine close to 130mph

celica 1987 1.6 cc has 91Kw...and that is 148.5 HP...so i think that everyone expects it to do more...

woah woah woah haha i wasnt hating! i had a 1987 celica gt hatchback it was my fav car i have ever owned (well other then my spec V im only 20 im on my 5th car lol) im sayin when two of its cylinders died (aka engine wasnt workin to the best of its abilities) it still went pretty good (i didnt push it over 120 tho) get it?
