Actually, the brilliance of their plan (Chuck and Blair's) was that they called the paparazzi. I admit it wasn't their best, but by calling the paparazzi they made the club/hotel a HUGE success. I'm on Blair's side, because Chuck had already called the police, and so Blair didn't do anything really, and Serena blames the wrong person. Plus, as you say, it all turned out okay, so why the fuss?

They NEED to bring Carter back!!!! They NEED to! He's the best thing that happened to Serena since Dan (season 1) and the best thing they've done for season 3 (other than Chuck and Blair). Messing w/Eric and Jonathan was NOT okay...and J needs to get her act together. I'm cool w/her being mean to everyone else, but Eric and Jonathan are AWESOME! I REALLY hope Nate/Jenny happens, cause it was AMAZING!!! Now, everyone knows I like Blair, but calling Jack was STUPID!

Well... So wandered of there.

I look forward to Serenate, if we'll get some that is, and they better make them good! I don't want 'one of that relationship', I want the real thing this time.

And one more thing that I've got in me head for a really long time now is that maybe all the relationships Nate has had with all those girls, that making GG call him class whore, is because he has been trying to replace Serena who he truly loves without understanding it and now he finally gets it.

I just think it's weird. And in the beginning of the second season N and S just had a fake relationship so N could be with the dutchess which I don't get. I know S probably didn't want a relationship with him at the time, but how can he want her more than S?

And I wasn't really thrilled about the Serenate rumours, but after have seen a few clips with them and stuff I actually think I could like them.

I just don't understands what the writers have been thinking. I mean, Nate and Serena would've been an obvious couple and it seems like a lot of people like them so why have they had Nate with Vanessa

Blair told Penelope and everyone that Jenny should be Queen and now her dad was marrying Lily and J would be richer than all of them. That means Eric is richer than them too and it's really his money, J is just married into them. He should have more power then her.

And I don't even keep track on her minions. I mean, they all look alike!

I say goodbye Queen J and hello King Eric. He can rule the school this year.

I've always been a huge Nate/Jenny fan, but I don't really look forward to their interaction now that Jenny's being a total bitch and everything. I sounded okay with her being queen and stuff, but not like this. Like, seriously I almost hate her now.

I want Eric to start a war against her and win! Come on, he's a van der Woodsen and she's just a Humphrey, it's in his blood to be better than her.

I was so annoyed by this.I mean, they're like siblings now and who treat their sibling like that?

If Jack had called, they would have been unprepared and we all know how Chair are about have control over everything. It was their way of taking the situation into their own hands. It's a confusing scheme, but it IS plausible enough.

I suppose you have a point, but then wouldn't it have been even more awesome if they had let Jack call the cops on them? I mean, when the cops show up and Chuck and Blair are indifferent, I would assume that Jack would be even more humiliated than Chuck and Blair calling the cops themselves. Either way though, thanks for the control perspective. Makes a little more sense now.

In regards to the whole Chuck-Blair-calling-the-cops thing, I think the point was to situate the paparazzi near the place where all of the high-profile celebs were going to be leaving. Therefore, it would get a lot of press for attracting all the right people. Blair says, "I'll take care of the paparazzi" so I'm sure she pointed them in the right direction so they could get their shots.

thank god i'm not alone, i absolutely didn't get their plan with the club shuting down! it wasn't genius at all, it was totally stupid... actually i didn't get the whole point about the club storyline...

About Jack I think the writers bring him back into the storyline in order to "prepare" his comeback later this season, i guess...

I am actually looking forward to the return of Jack Bass, but this premise they have for his return is lame in my opinion.

To the Jack calling thing: I think it makes total sense. Serena mentioned that Bart has to had his ways to get such documents and Blair called the person who is the closest thing to Bart she knows. Which is Jack. AND i don't think that Blair knows about the rape attempt. Chuck and her weren't speaking at the time it happened and Serena is was to self-centered to talk about bad things that happent to her mom with Blair.

I see where you're coming from on the Jack thing. I understand that Blair only wanted to help, but what bugged me was that the writers played it off as if she hadn't even taken a moment to consider what Jack had done to Chuck last year, you know? And bonus point for noting the sarcasm! ;)
