  • My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325 weekends. 328i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the E46 is about 13.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $17 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:

    E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

    E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

    E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

    E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

    Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

  • what year is the 911?

  • I'm addicted to watching this video.

  • Am proud owner of an E46 M3 and have driven (not owned ) some powerful cars but having driven my M3 it is shit your pants time , whoever is the driver on this footage does all M3 owners proud ....brilliant .

  • Amazing... And the sound, without music, very good !

    Is it a 911 or 964 ?

  • That was amazing driving skills nice !

  • Nurburgring?

  • i would laugh if the M3 hit the bikers lol how funny would dat b i mean da poor m3 be damaged but the laugh would be worth it XD!!!

  • Yes! this is a great video. I second the fact that there is NO music. You can hear the engine and tires. I wish there were more of these type vids. They are both good drivers. German engineering rocks!!!

  • M3-Power! - He's a good driver ! ;)

  • Incredible sound in this Porsche. I like that !!

And I like these movies on the Net, where there is no music ... we can heard the engine sound perfectly !!

Definitely YES, i love this movie !!

  • Beautiful driving by both drivers and the footage is fantastic.

I hope to drive the Nurburgring one day ^_^

  • M3 driver, takes some good lines..short shifting or not..m3 has some grunt..

  • i have drived this road track, in grand turismo 4!!! xD

  • i like the rear mirror delete mod.. haha

  • rear view mirror*

  • The bikes are not incredibly slow. In the hands of ordinary riders, bikes aren't especially fast on corners - a car can plough on where a bike has to tiptoe. Second, these 2 guys pass some modern Porsches as well. And yes, whether it's a Ruf yellow bird is debatable, it doesn't sound that highly tuned, but it's certainly an old one, with the bodyshell that they stopped making in 1989, so certainly from anytime from about 1973 to 1989.

  • woooow this is awesome video this bmw drivier roxx 4eva

  • Both drivers are skilled in handling their cars. While the M3 driver demonstrates an impressive example of defensive driving on a racetrack, the Porsche driver kept focused on making sure he doesn't oversteer or fishtail because 911s are known to do such when not driven properly and carefully weaved behind the M3. BMW and Porsche rocks!

  • This guy is a damn good 911 pilot!!! Wow!

  • that 106 and corsa on the 6:45 somehow should look VERY funny, but i think they are cute ) and i can't break a smile. whats wrong with me? ))

  • Did anyone get the licence # of that M3 ;) I ought to

get one of those M3's today !

  • Is this a meeting of the motorcycle novice club or what? The motorbikes are incredibly slow!

  • jamoy666,

to be fair, most of the "twitching" of the M3 happened when it had to slow down or swerve to avoid the incredibly slow-motion bikers upon exiting corners, while all the Porche had to do was follow in the space/lane provided by the leading M3. I think the M3 driver did a nice job, and the M3 consistently pulled away from the Porsche on longer straights. Seems like the Porsche is a little older, 964 or older?

  • yeah, you're probably right...but the porsche driver is also short changing alot of the time, and when he reaches for the uper revs he easily gains on the M3. i think it's the yellowbird...in which case it is one of the fastest cars to ever have lapped 'the ring' and still remains one of the all time legends.

  • love how the M3 is twitching on the exists of corners as the porker just cruises up behind. is this the Yellowbird?

  • Yup, I think it's the RUF Yellowbird. No way is it a standard 911, even a Turb0 911 964 didnt have as much as 343bhp I don't thnk. I'm pretty certain it's a RUF Yellowbird.

  • I love these race videos, just awesome.. i also love it how the bikes are slow around the corners :)

  • good piece of driving, the 911 it's already a little old and thee M3 was very good indeed
