  • Who is the man in the black & white striped shirt at 0:17

  • Thank you so much for posting this,,,,I lost all my video's and oh what a joy it is that I can hear these precious songs again!! God Bless you!!

  • did u sing with them church of christ in rancho cordova ca in 90's

  • Great Video.... Just wanted to make a quick comment: It was 'after' his long, music ministry with his family namesake, The Mullins, that he sang with GVB. Great guy, Buddy is! Their family had been such a huge instrument from God in personally supporting our family, while we were missionaries to the Philippines.

  • We really need to hear more of this group singing acapella-- it is far superior to their songs with instrumentals

  • This was the last song I listened to with my mom before she passed away in 1997. Thanks for posting this!

  • I just love to hear Buddy sing! What a voice! It always gives me a blessing and such peace after listening to him, whether singing alone, with the Gaithers or with the Mullins. My very favorite is him signing "The Lighthouse".

  • Does anyone know how I can find an online clip of The Mullins singing I Shall Know Him from one of the earlier Gaither videos? Thank you!!!

  • i think you mean them singing "my savior first of all" I have posted it, do a search for it

  • My great grandmother died about 45 years ago. This was played at her funeral. My own relationship with the Lord has waned over the years, but this song always drew me to Him. My own old son took his life 3 months ago, and I repeatedly turn to this song, particularly this beautiful version. Before my son died we visited Israel and the Garden of Gesthemene. I do picture myself walking with God in that ancient garden. I cry as I write this, but more in joy than pain. I have hope.

  • This is beautiful. This was my Dad's favorite song. We had it sung at his funeral.

    Psalm 95:1-3

1 Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.

2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving.

Let us sing psalms of praise to him.

3 For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.

If they sound this good on earth can you imagine how awesome this must sound up in Heaven? I hope my Dad is listening :)

    Thanks for uploading:)

  • Buddy's got a decent voice, but he tries to hard to be like Michael English.

  • Beautiful!

  • In the early days if this group, they did a great song called We have An Invitation. I think that was the name of it. They sang it on the Homeland Harmony program with Bill Gaither, and Bill Traylor. Does anyone out there know the song that I'm talking about?

  • Beautiful indeed. Thanks!

  • Beautiful..(5*) Sherry

Thanks to Powerbacker for the share..

  • This is very nice! Thank you, Powerbacker, for sharing this with me! Thank you, hoover4000, for posting it! :D

  • I come to the garden alone

While the dew is still on the roses

And the voice I hear falling on my ear

    The song of God discloses

    And He walks with me

    And He talks with me

And He tells me I am his own

And the joy we share as we tarry there

    None other has ever known

  • He speaks and the sound of His voice

Is so sweet the birds hush their singing

And the melody that He gave to me

    Within my heart is ringing

    And He walks with me

    And He talks with me

And He tells me I am his own

And the joy we share as we tarry there

    None other has ever known

  • I have been looking for this song. It reminds me of my mother.

  • this is my song! i really love it!! more power and blessing to your group!!!

  • Absolutely beautiful. A very different approach!

  • Close harmony singing at its best

  • I heard the Mullins Family at many Tent revivals held at Baptist Temple in Indianapolis, IN. I have many of their tapes. Great music

  • beautiful, what can I say

  • That was fantastic!

  • its mylon lefevre from the Lefevre family singers sitting in front of squire parsons & later on his own with mylon lefvre & broken heart

  • That was awesome!!!!

  • Beautiful :) Thanks for sharing...

  • beautiful

  • this was my Grandma and great uncle favorite song when ever they would be together this would be the song they would sing. and when they both passed away it was played at their funerals.

  • excellent voice yeah...so amazing...perfect!

  • who is the gentleman sitting in front of Squire Parsons?

  • mylon lefeafer, not sure if I spelled the last name right lol

  • I like this arrangment, its very pretty

  • Probably one of my favorite arrangements of this song. I know a bluegrass singer who made a hard driving bluegrass arrangement of it and its good for that but as far as vocal harmony this is the best.

  • i love this song

  • good job, can not help but wonder is this where the word mullets came from

  • man you these guyz are so good!!!!!!!

  • Grat Harmonies on this gospel standard.
