Great Video.... Just wanted to make a quick comment: It was 'after' his long, music ministry with his family namesake, The Mullins, that he sang with GVB. Great guy, Buddy is! Their family had been such a huge instrument from God in personally supporting our family, while we were missionaries to the Philippines.
I just love to hear Buddy sing! What a voice! It always gives me a blessing and such peace after listening to him, whether singing alone, with the Gaithers or with the Mullins. My very favorite is him signing "The Lighthouse".
My great grandmother died about 45 years ago. This was played at her funeral. My own relationship with the Lord has waned over the years, but this song always drew me to Him. My own old son took his life 3 months ago, and I repeatedly turn to this song, particularly this beautiful version. Before my son died we visited Israel and the Garden of Gesthemene. I do picture myself walking with God in that ancient garden. I cry as I write this, but more in joy than pain. I have hope.
In the early days if this group, they did a great song called We have An Invitation. I think that was the name of it. They sang it on the Homeland Harmony program with Bill Gaither, and Bill Traylor. Does anyone out there know the song that I'm talking about?
this was my Grandma and great uncle favorite song when ever they would be together this would be the song they would sing. and when they both passed away it was played at their funerals.
Probably one of my favorite arrangements of this song. I know a bluegrass singer who made a hard driving bluegrass arrangement of it and its good for that but as far as vocal harmony this is the best.

We really need to hear more of this group singing acapella-- it is far superior to their songs with instrumentals

This is beautiful. This was my Dad's favorite song. We had it sung at his funeral.
Psalm 95:1-3
1 Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving.
Let us sing psalms of praise to him.
3 For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods.
If they sound this good on earth can you imagine how awesome this must sound up in Heaven? I hope my Dad is listening :)
Thanks for uploading:)

I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on the roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The song of God discloses
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known

He speaks and the sound of His voice
Is so sweet the birds hush their singing
And the melody that He gave to me
Within my heart is ringing
And He walks with me
And He talks with me
And He tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
