Grand Ayatollah's in Iran are often accused of being violent and oppressive men, but if you study the list of Grand Ayatollah's in Iran the majority of them stay away from politics and oppose the current Iranian Supreme Leader's involvement in violent crackdowns, unfortunately people today are lazy and are not willing to take the time and study world politics, which is a real shame.

In India there is BOTH a Christian terror problem and a Muslim one as well, so unless you are going to treat every religion fairly I would keep my mouth shut about India. Finally in China there is a tiny independence movement in NorthWestern part of the country but I wouldn't call it "terrorism", Buddhist Tibet also has a very similar situation.

@olmecbones That is not my argument, I only said that because many non-Muslims go around screaming about how peaceful ALL Christians, Jews, etc are. I only wanted to make it clear that radicalism is not a problem only in Islamic communities but also in other religious communities. But this does not justify terrorism by any means.

What they're doing is (among other things) indeed terrorism, i.e. putting fear into hearts of others. Quranic verse 3:151 says: "Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority"

This is no religion's fault nor anybody's country's fault, it is the fault of those who actually committed the attack because for whatever reason they were trying to prove something (I do not know what it was though) but either way, when crazy ass people think violence is the only cure then they deserve nothing but shame. People choose or are born into their own religion, they have their own ideas within a form of god, but this act is one of many that is a sole showing of insanity.

This did not receive the proper type of coverage in the US because of the Kobe Bryant Trial. Kobe was more newsworthy than this.
The hostage takers were Islamic Militants. Well organized and planned attack. The Russian Government failed in it's response because of the responding units to the scene. No one was in charge and no one wanted to be in charge. Because if a rescue operation failed I don't think Putin would accept excuses.

My teacher talked about this and these are complete lies by the russian gouvernment, and take note that this bull had NOTHING TO DO WITH RELEGION. The terrorists simply wanted their nations independance and the russian gov did not approved that and after a while they decided to just invade the school and killed anything that was moving in order to get rid of the terrorists, so the civilian casulaties are to blame on them too.
