In Medieval times, when a blacksmith crafted a sword, for example, he didn't fully melt a slab of steel and pour in into a sword mold. All he did was put a bar of it into a fire and then hammer on it. The fire weakened the metal from being able to cut through armor on a battlefield to being able to be hammered into shape. That's what happened with the WTC.

Even IF the owner somehow had the authority to demolish his building, why would he admit (on national television, no less!) to have destroyed a building, if he wanted it to be secret? His "pull it" term is too often used as "evidence", and its rediculous. They were pulling firefighters out, because they knew it was eventually going to collapse. They weren't pulling the building down.
The owner hadn't even signed many insurance papers. Doesn't sound like a man ready for an insurance payout.

@LoudStudios building took more than 15 seconds to fall. Free fall would be 9.22 seconds for 417m. The buildings were not in free fall. Basic kinematics. Steel could of melted, if the thermal flux out of the building is less than the flux provided by the fuel and the fuel last long enough. Basic thermodynamics. The Young's modulus decreases as the temperature goes up for steel. Basic mechanics.

In Medieval times, when a blacksmith crafted a sword, for example, he didn't fully melt a slab of steel and pour in into a sword mold. All he did was put a bar of it into a fire and then hammer on it. The fire weakened the metal from being able to cut through armor on a battlefield to being able to be hammered into shape. That's what happened with the WTC.

Yes Rosie it is "weird" and Impossible. My mate has been a welder, fabricator for 25 years. Evidently it doesn't take a scientist to know better. He said something was bothering him besides what happened that morning. How it happened. He said it wasn't possible for the buildings to totally collapse under the circumstances. I never doubted him a moment. Keep trying to educate the people. Of course there as some that haven't the capability to understand. The majority do.

The official report also admits that the jet fuel was consumed within minutes of impact and that combustibles in any given area of the WTC's were consumed in about 15-20 minutes. These fires were also not hot enough to melt steel.

Since the 1st Gulf war Saddam killed at least 100,000 Kurds and 130,000 Shi-ites. People who have "disappeared" into the hands of the secret police are believed to be about 200,000. All part of his "Cleansing of Iraq". Since 1979 his grand total of killings is around 1 million people. Don't forget those WMD's that "never existed" were used many times on his own people. We know that Iraq was a training ground for al-qaeda terrorists, so yes I would say they had SOMETHING to do with 9/11.

Report was done by statisticians at MIT, not a conspiracy site. Published in a peer-reviewed medical journal. Includes both direct & indirect add'l deaths caused by US invasion & occupation. ~ 1/3 were directly killed by US forces. The rest died due to the worsening security situation there or reduced medical care since invasion - which US is responsible for as the occupying army under int'l law.
Even Iraqi gov't says over 300K have died in the past 4 yrs.

I saw an engineering documentary about this: The steel beams in the WTC bldgs had fire fire retardant coatings to prevent failure from fire, but it was knocked off when the planes hit.

Where is a cutting torch the hottest? a cm from the tip. What makes it cut? Pressurized oxygen being blown at the metal being cut. Same for welding. Steel is made in very concentrated high pressure environments, not 70 storeys in the open air.
The coatings don't just get "knocked off." The steel beams were not all completely exposed to the impact.

You don't have to reduce the steel to a molten liquid, you just have to weaken certain pieces enough for the weight to take over. My eyes were open when I heard actual experts - structural engineers and the architect who designed the buildings and knew the materials explain what happened.

I've figured out what's wrong with liberals. They just aren't able to tell the difference between evil dictators like Hitler, Stalin or Hussein using military force to conquer and enslave nations and their people, and the USA using military force to liberate and democratize them. Admittedly, any one factor bringing down the buildings makes no sense...however, this was not an ordinary fire or set of circumstances. You have to stop taking each factor into consideration as though they're mutually exclusive. A combination of factors is more than capable of producing the desired effect. Buildings are constructed so that they implode if damaged enough to cause collapse; that way they don't topple sideways and destroy several blocks.

I remember on the day of Tuesday, September 11th, 2001, them saying that they were going to bring down building 7 because they were trying to constrain a fire that they said was spreading. Therefore I knew ever since 9/11 that it was a controlled demolition, and had at first thought it 2 be common knowledge. So I don't know why there are people who do not know this. I guess there is a mass amnesia.

I remember for myself on the day of September 11th, 2001 hearing them admitting that they were going to bring down (implode) building 7, because of fear of the fire 7. As a result, in the days after September 11th, I thought the fact the building 7 came down as a controlled demolition was common knowledge. So, therefore, how can anybody think it wasn't? It seems there is a case of mass amnesia.
