I don't defend Islam or anything like that, but after 1:10 I've decided not to watch this video. I don't know what it is, there's just something about these kind of documentaries that all seem the same, the music, the opinions, the trying to 'capture the audiences attention', rather than just stating facts, and giving us the history. I truly enjoy learning the plain facts about history, for some reason that is so hard to find in video productions that are really just meant to make a profit.

I don't defend Islam or anything like that, but after 1:10 I've decided not to watch this video. I don't know what it is, there's just something about these kind of documentaries that all seem the same, the music, the opinions, the trying to 'capture the audiences attention', rather than just stating facts, and giving us the history. I truly enjoy learning the plain facts about history, for some reason that is so hard to find in video productions that are really just meant to make a profit.

Documentaries are studio productions, they are meant to capture an audience, drive ratings up, so that networks can charge big bucks to advertisers. I'm sorry, but that is the reason why. There are a lot of superb amateur documentaries online, that do state historical facts more plainly, but because they don't contain fancy graphics or orchestral sounds, networks don't patronize them.
