Okay here are a few points you seemed unsure about:

The wires: The Doctor had the choice to touch them together, if he did, it would activate the bomb, which would destroy the baby daleks in the lab, preventing their creation

The mutant: It was only briefly seen, but in the fifth Doctor era they were shown quite often, but were usually just blobs of foam and rubber with tentacles

And also Davros was always intended to be sinister.

The tie, shirt and waistcoat on that version are completely incorrect. The Tie should should be green, the shirt should be checkered and he shouldn't have a hounds tooth pattern waistcoat. The Davros is fine, but the mic is in the wrong face, so you should move it back a bit. Also one of the Daleks has a silver gun, whereas in the story they only had brown guns. But those are just nit picks, and the set is awesome and that's why I have it. :)
