  • Just bought a brand new 2008 rocket 135 today from a store that sells damaged freight, it has a 2 1/2 inch hole on top of the deck about 1 1/2 foot from top, but easy fix. The rest of the board is perfect! Paid a whopping $70 for it. Thanks for the vid.

  • thank you for the test. Nice see it in action. Would you highly recommend it for medium conditions (3 to 4 france atlantic) for a 85 kg man ?

    Thanks for info

  • how does this compare to the 80? i love the 80 but it gets a little hairy in swell and big winds.....im 6'2" and about 15 stone and about the same standard (just faster ;]

re: board nose diving problem, nothing like the feeling of being in a lull with some minor nose diving then getting caught in a huge gust and going down faster than a 15 year old girl at a jedward concert....i think the wideness and roundness of the nose makes it harder to pop back up....

  • Just bought a 115 Rocket. After a 161 Titan, it's like sailing a very unstable match stick, but incredibly fast. Planes in even light winds. A lot of the bouyancy seems to be in the tail, so it's easy to get to the footstraps. The only downside is that as soon as you get any weight towards the front, the nose submarines. Great fun though.

  • @rrrripbing wow dropping from a 161 to a 115 i did the same but dropped to the 135 and have bought a second board which is the 115. your right about the 115 and the nose only been on the 115 a bunch of times as i sink it so needs to be really windy. Still loving the 135...Tabou Rocket..

  • @rrrripbing i did the same as you guys, i did a big drop in ltrs from 150 to a 101 Starboard carve ^_^ If it helps with the nose of the board Question (tacking) try leaving your feet further down the board when you have your back to the wind, place your feet just down of the mast so that the mast is slightly in between your legs ^_^ also it is ok for the nose to sink just dont wait around (fast tack) and steer down wind off the end of the tack!

  • @SurfyAdrenalinJunkie Went from a 180L Starboard Go to a 105L SB Kombat :) Had the same problems as you...

  • I've been trying to get the Rocket. But I've been having trouble with shipping overseas from the US.

I'l keep on trying... just got to own one of these!!

  • Great board......look great and go great!

  • i own a tabou rocket 115 from 2007

    fucking fast board

  • Dam Straight

  • I way 178lbs, would the tabou rocket be ideal

  • Oh yes you might want to invest in the 125 or 115 as i'm a bit heaver than you... Its great for blasting, just get strapped in and your off like a rocket...

  • The best board I know
