Thank you for this most excellent video. Rachel Portman's score is ....... well, words escape me. A fitting tribute to your lovely sister. Please forgive my presumption that I'm assuming you lost her. I too have lost loved ones. Three children. Trevor age 8, Melinda at birth and, Kayleigh age 2 months. Music such as this causes me to pause and contemplate on what is genuinely important in this very short life. It's refreshing to watch and listen to the joy that is expressed in your video. Bravo.

I love this song and the nature. I kind of grew up in nature and I remember what it was like going through puberty. Puberty phases sometimes voyages with the phases of seasons and nature. And then you look back and remember moments when you fell in love too hard or not hard enough. And a bittersweet emotion kind of takes over and you sigh and get back to paying the bills and acting like a grownup. :-P

This song reminds me of my childhood, of warm and hazy summer days, playing around the local creek south of my home in Indiana. Off in the distance, you can see the waves of wheat rolling their tossils in the soft, summer breeze with a faint whiff of wheat and freshly cut grass, as the local farmer is cutting their front yard. It reminds you of home. And every time I listen to this, it brings a tear to my eye of simpler and quieter times when we didn't have to worry about terrorists.

Bravo Ms Portman and a really well made video "EnglishHeroes". Love this score, very simple repetition and evocative use of woodwinds......its romanticism and optimistic note suits the video perfectly. Portman is at her best with this style, not so keen on the experimental stuff like in "Beloved".
