As long as between now and then we concentrate on doing the Lords work and trying to lead as many lost souls as possible to Christ, we will both be okay. Wed. nite study of the rapture trib and 1000 y. reign I am pretty sure I am right as we really did dig into this very deeply. It is critical in understanding this to separate the scriptures that are talking to Israel and the ones talking to the Church If you or your Church believe that the promises God made to Israel really means the Church then we will never be able to settle this between us
Sadly,most churches today,including mine, r hung up on the pre-trib rapture idea that they base soley on the verses in Thessolonians.This is dangerous to teach as it can lead to many being unprepared & confused if the Trib happens in our lifetime.I spoke to my pastor on this & his answer was simple.It didn't matter!Either way we will be with Christ.1 way is quick & easy,the other tough & ugly.Its not about denying Christ.Its hiding in hope to SEE His return.If caught so be it.We're then martyrs.

Well 3 things, first I pray about it, then I ask myself if either side of the arguement will hurt my walk with the Lord or damage or hinder my testimony to others. Don't know about Sci-fi but I do know about the Bible. And it tells me that I will be gathered up or caught up in the air to meet my Jesus. In the rapture he does not touch the earth, not till after the trib will his second coming occur. I am sorry but the scriptures do not support your theory. Born again Christians will be "gathered up" ( 1st. Thess. ch.1 verse 16-17) or raptured , God has promised us that those of us who are in the body of Christ will not be exposed to his wrath. We will be gone when people will have to receive the mark of the beast to buy sell or trade. Romans 3: 23-25 AND 1 Thess 1;10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even JESUS, which delivered us FROM THE WRATH TO COME.

Also the word says that when He comes at the end, He will come with thousands of His saints to establish His Kingdom on earth. That happens at the end of the tribulation. Noah was sealed in the ark by God and did not go through the terrible things that came upon the world, Lot was taken out of Sodom and Gomorrah by God and did not go through the terrible things that happened there. What I wonder is that if we can't buy or sell during the second half of the tribulation, for the people who aren't taken out of this world, how will private property help if those left will not be able to buy or sell without taking the mark of the beast? The reason why I ask is because if you can't buy or sell, you can't pay property taxes, then your property would be turned over to the govt.

There are 7 different churches. 6 of the 7 he exhorts to overcome. 1 of the 7 he says "Because of your faithfulness, I will keep you from the great hour of tribulation that is coming upon the whole Earth. That leads me to belive that the rapture is for the faithful only, and not the luke warm.

This may sound selfish but it is a fact. Were COUNTING on 10's of thousands of armed citizens (militias) fighting the military to keep them busy for quite some time. This is the way it will play out. Don't know about Sci-fi but I do know about the Bible. And it tells me that I will be gathered up or caught up in the air to meet my Jesus. In the rapture he does not touch the earth, not till after the trib will his second coming occur. Yes it tells me to be busy doing the Lords work right up till the last second when he will spare me from the trib and the wrath. I will never be forced to choose between accepting the mark or becoming a martyr for Jesus. This he has promised me.

I am sorry but the scriptures do not support your theory. Born again Christians will be "gathered up" ( 1st. Thess. ch.1 verse 16-17) or raptured , God has promised us that those of us who are in the body of Christ will not be exposed to his wrath. We will be gone when people will have to receive the mark of the beast to buy sell or trade. Romans 3: 23-25 AND 1 Thess 1;10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even JESUS, which delivered us FROM THE WRATH TO COME.

What I wonder is that if we can't buy or sell during the second half of the tribulation, for the people who aren't taken out of this world, how will private property help if those left will not be able to buy or sell without taking the mark of the beast? The reason why I ask is because if you can't buy or sell, you can't pay property taxes, then your property would be turned over to the govt.

There are 7 different churches. 6 of the 7 he exhorts to overcome. 1 of the 7 he says "Because of your faithfulness, I will keep you from the great hour of tribulation that is coming upon the whole Earth. That leads me to belive that the rapture is for the faithful only, and not the luke warm.

Precisely, Buddha admitted he was only a man, he didnt claim to be a god as many like Jesus falsely do.
If ur god is real I rebuke him and dare him to strike me down now.

BTW you won't see a cross or crucifix in my Christian church. Though the empty cross is not idolatry. It is symbolic of the resurrected Christ. We are not worshiping the cross. We don't bow to it or pray to it. It is just there as a symbol. Way different than what my mother in-law does when she kisses the ground before the alter of a large fat Buddha dude and chokes on incense as she gives offerings of fruits and such! Haha. You are the loser because you have not discovered the true path!

Not quite sure Jesus just hung around. You r saying he never healed the many sick? Did Buddha heal anyone? No. Jesus gave sight to the blind? Did Buddha do that? No. Jesus raised people from the dead. Did Buddha do that? No! No! No! Buddha in fact didn't really "DO" anything. He just talked a whole lot & came up with the idea of Karma & reincarnation & all life is about suffering. How more wrong can he be? Life is a beautiful gift. Nothingness is the goal of Buddhism. I know all about Buddhism!

I never called anyone dumb. I also force nobody to adhere to my beliefs, however it is a duty of all Christians to at least share them with others. If Christianity is a cult then I am so glad and blessed to be a part of the "cult" called Christianity!! Thanks!

This may sound selfish but it is a fact. Were COUNTING on 10's of thousands of armed citizens (militias) fighting the military to keep them busy for quite some time. This is the way it will play out. Were deep in the sticks & bothering nobody while 10's of thousands of citizens are fighting a losing battle-we will be busy surviving. It will be a long time before the government even begins to start scoping us out-and even doing that would take months for them to even find us thanks to technology.
