But those games are not the fighting masterpiece that is SF. You have to be on another level with SF.

ok for the new characters, capcom stated that there will be 8 new characters.. if we take away the confirmed ones: Juri, T.Hawk, DeeJay only 5 slots are left. Hakan the Arabic Grappler is the next one with a high chance of getting in there as the 2 completly new guy. 4 Characters left. With the Statement of 2-3 characters of each series means Adon and Cody from Alpha and Makoto / Ibuki from 3rd Strike. Which makes 8 Characters. We'll see^^

Most of the characters in kof and sf have over the top fighting styles that don't resemble any kind of martial arts in real life. Ryu and Ken use shodokan, but only Makoto's moves actually resembles the art. All that matters is for the characters attacks to looks awesome, with spiraling flames and fire balls shooting out of their bodies and what not. :P Its not real, so their for the creators can take liberties to make the fights look as stylish as possible... not as down to earth as possible.
