  • VERY NICE!

  • Jizzed in my pants at 0:17. Now I have a messy cleanup.

  • How Much did you thos cost you?

  • What is ur Quarter Mile?

  • what are you running for fuel what ecu injector size etc.??? and how much for a set up like this i wanna go turbo with mines.

  • wats your overall price !?? $5k

  • where can I purchase this setup?

  • @saierry well, all the piping is basically a kit made by Protech Performance (PTP), but they are very rare and quite expensive if you try to get one new. The turbo is modified and upgraded as well. I may be considering selling it.... Feel free to make offers :)

  • @MDsports10 how many miles do u have on the turbo

  • I have a 04 RX-8 touring, red on red/black interior. Had this car up for sale twice, but never could let it go. My tranny's done, it has 100k Miles, but I love this car to death. Im also the owner of a highly-modded evo, but I have more fun with the rx-8 than the evo. I was thinking of doing a full rebuild in the close future and dropping a turbo. What would I need to make close to 400 Horsepower safely, or is that even possible, with the 13b-r? or would a rx7 13b swap be better..

  • @rcmankamil swap it lol

  • @rcmankamil yea you can make 475 crank hp with the mazda maniacs greddy turbo up grade.T3071R

  • yes i agree OEM seals are underrated and those seals are alot haha i wouldnt get them. man ur car sound nice.... is that a t3 turbo in size??

  • @5cheeta Thanks! and yes it is a T3 turbo size - the awesome thing about this turbo is that I'm in full 10-11psi of boost by 3500rpm (incredible for a large turbo like this)

  • @MDsports10 Welcome, that is good.... im still in the break in part of my turbo. all that is doing is teasing me haha but im lookin to push 8-9 psi to be safe.

  • @MDsports10 its actually small for rotaries...or a decent size...:) just letting you know!

  • Stock engine???

  • @5cheeta Yeah, stock engine - in fact, there's not much you can do with rotary engines anyway...

  • @MDsports10 i asked becuz they make aftermarket apex seals for these engines .... but is everythings holding up good?? and how many miles u have on it so far just wondering im trying to c how long these engines last under boost. i have turbo on mine too.

  • @5cheeta I have about 3000 miles on the boosted engine and everything is running beautifully. Ceramic apex seals, in my opinion aren't worth it unless your engine is being rebuilt - even then, spending around $1500 for seals alone is a bit steep. The OEM seals are underrated in thier strength.

  • @MDsports10 How much whp and lb/ft of torque does it make with your current set up?

  • @MDsports10 Whoops, scratch the first question off. I just read the bottom of the description lol.

  • @MDsports10, Actually there are more you can do to these motors. One of them is Porting, inlet and exhaust porting. However, the RX8 engine can only achieve 350bhp as the exhaust ports only allow you so much on these models. To achieve the optimal power and performance you need to swap your engine for a RX7 FD 3S which will give you the exhaust ports you need for 500bhp and more. Where the RX8 exhaust ports are very limited.

  • @BigBlackMamba101 if a 13B-MSP is only capable of 350hp, explain to be why there are RX-8s making 450+hp on the MSP with nothing more than a street port?

    your logic is flawed.

  • @rotor13 Most tuners don't want to port the RENISES as the manufacturers made it difficult to port! Sorry but its facts! They decided to make this engine more echo friendly and came up with this engine the "RENISES". Making 450bhp you need to go to so much extensive work that its more viable to stick with the old FD 3S REW engine, much better to port and run 500+.

  • @BigBlackMamba101 How is it difficult to port?

It basically a mirror image of the intake port, and the rotor housings themselves have the casting provisions for peripheral intake and exhaust ports.

This no more "extensive work" needed to build an MSP as there is on the RE, REW, and 13B-T.

The Renesis has actually VERY LITTLE changes made to it. the two major changes are the side seals are closer to the face and are beveled for emissions purposes, and side exit exhaust ports.

  • @rotor13 most "tuners" dont know how to work on a rotary in the first place.

And rotary specialists have no issues working with an MSP.

RX-8s are just not as popular with the enthusiast community

  • @BigBlackMamba101 sheesh kebab

  • Get some pulls in......

  • very nice
