@Monkeykid5228 i just got this car it is a reliable car. but if you want a car for cheap this is not the one. this will cost you $250 plus tax and a battery. so your looking at about $350 at the end. and if you are a beginner this is way to much power to control. I recomend a traxxas bandit or a traxxas rustler

problem with that, i need really super durable with easy to replace, from what i heard, the bandit is a pain in the you know what. not quite as much from the rustler, but ive heard that theres problems with it. if im going to get a 2wd vehicle, it needs to be something that has the tires in the body. i will break the arms as soon as i drive it.

well some people break in their brushed motor with water.. (only a noob too, but i did some research)

but breaking in a brushed motor is really only for the professionals because they take several motors and "break it in" with water and they use the motor that offers the highest RPM out of the motors they "broke in"

Yeah the stock slash is pretty unstable on pavement. I just moved my suspension arms out and added some preload spacers and it got a lot better. Still flips from time to time but you kind of have to try to flip it now.
