It's really pretty simple. All you need is basic soldering skills. Its just a switch, 1 resistor, 1 capacitor, and a jumper wire and the NOS tube. It really makes a very noticable difference for something so simple.
How difficult was the kit to install? Im interested in trying it out but I dont have alot of experience with working on amps. Just basic soldering skills. Does it come with detailed instructions?
Hey just wanted to correct a couple mistakes. Everytime I said 1/2 watt setting I was actually talking about the 1 watt setting. Also The guitar I used was a 1989 Fender Japanese Strat all stock on the middle pickup. This video was also completely made on my iPhone 4 so I'm not sure how good it came out for viewing on a regular computer.
Nice demo. It really gives a good idea of the three way voicing.
