i was there aged 9 still remember it clearly after the game my dad took me in to the swedish support and we swapped flags a flag ive still got what a team that was.its funny rangers moanin last season about all the games they had to play that season utd played around 70 games with a tiny squad the 2 uefa games scottish cup and final league game were all played in the space of ten days hopefully levein and co can grab some silerware this year ftd!!!!

i know mclean put 22 years of managment into the club and was chairman for a while credit to the money eddie thompson has put into the club but the years add up for mclean
naming stamds, grounds etc is supposed to be something special - not something that is added every fews years - a football club soon runs out of places to name. In United's case Mclean is certainly one person that should live in the memory in such a way.

I honestly do not know what those same Rangers 'fans' would think if Manchester fans came up to Glasgow and treated - Glasgow in the same as they have treated Manchester. Our football isn't shite, defending is part of the game. I'm definitely not a Rangers fan but they deserved to reach the final. Man U play brilliant football and I love watching them (good luck in Moscow by the way) but you have billions to spend on flamboyant players. We don't have that sort of money so focus on defending, which is what we are good at. Scotland's defence gave us two wins against France, so I'm not going to complain about solid defending.
