okay, so, i'm teaching myself guitar and i'm brand new at this... so what does it mean on the tabs when there's an "x" on the line? :/ does that mean you mute that string?

@MsTiffanyLexus That is one way to play G, the x= mute the string like you thought. You can also play G with fretting the A string @ the second fret. There are many other ways to play it!! Good luck

Chorus:

Cadd9 chord at beginning of some lines: D, (short pause),D DUDUDDU

Cadd9 chord at the end of each line: DDUUDD DU (integrate other chords into this pattern if necessary)

G chord: D, short D (optional), D

D chord: D, short D (optional), D, D U
