My Illegal Setup is Ray warrior, Wave Laser, Grand Cross, Cheetah, Ultimate.

this game was a gem, even today i still love to play it, its just awesome, and had some freakin kick ass music

and whats all these people saying you cant beat rahu with illegal parts? O.o . . . parts dont matter its the person's ability to use every part flawlessly (thats also they key to unlocking ray warrior :p) if you cant beat him with illegal parts. . .then you srsly need to practice alot more o.o (msg me to talk about the game and part combinations and stuff :p tips tricks etc)

@nadi0idan That's because Rahu3 seems impossible to beat sometimes. On my very first playthrough, I beat him on my first try using Ray 01 and the sword storm gun. Rahu3 is very strong, but has such dumb AI, that you just have to avoid attacks and hope that the AI is in your favor.

@bonestorm99 Rahu III's weakness is its strength: Immunity to Down. Use Instant downs to remove its bullets from the screen.

Out run it... Rahu III's a joke. Rahu II is more dangerous.

@AirshipCanon2 That didn't really help, cause it takes too long to bring down his KO meter, and the problem usually is that his gun does ridiculous damage from a close range. When I lose, it's cause he just takes my teammates out fast by shooting them up close. I have no idea how you had trouble with Rahu 2 though, I've never lost a fight against him.

@bonestorm99 Try the Knuckle Gun. :P True, that puts you up close to him, but nothing hits harder (and it's Instant Down)

Rahu II is a problem if you're playing against other players with it. (R2 is nearly as powerful, brute force wise as R3, but isn't immune to downs)

You have OP allies when you fight R2 Storyline.

@AirshipCanon2 I actually didn't think of that lol...And yeah, Rahu 1 and 2 are really tough when a player uses it. The only reason any Rahu is easy to fight in the story is cause the computer is too dumb.

Hornet works best for me in this game. If I don't feel like being cheap, I use the Gatling gun. It was hard to choose between accuracy and fire rate. I mean, power is good and all, but I prefered getting their three little dots down with many consecutive attacks at once.

So how did you get the Wyrm gun before fighting Rahu III? (unless you start story mode all over with all the parts you collected.) you can't take down Rahu III with almost any illegal gun.

impossible you don't get that item in story only in "Grand Battle" unless you used a cheat or somthing or like he said-u just restarted the story eith your weapons u had already.....say somthing thats realy in the game plz.=I

Probably he did that or he's lying; I already beat Rahu III (no ilegals, very easy), and it's quite impossible to beat him using ilegals.

Nah, you can DEFINITELY beat Rahu III using his own illegal parts.

I always used Ray 01 with a Blue color scheme combined with all of the parts that Rahu III uses against him...and won every time!

I meant that, IN STORY MODE, you can beat Rahu III without illegals (but you can if you already have Rahu parts in Grand Battle); the only trick for beating him is just let your allies deal the first seconds and you later beat him.

Man when i was here in the game the first time i was not ready for one epic fight it would not be topped until i got my dragon gun and i versed rahu III he was hard at first but on my 3rd play throughhe was so easy

When you first meet them and battle them then you start the battle, click retire then it'll show the second time, when Sergei targeted on Oboro, looks at Sergei dive, It'll be gone. =P
