  • We agree that American citizens are being displaced by foreign citizens. We disagree on the reason why.

  • If you wish to advertise be specific. H1B not only hires software programmers but doctors,PHd, engineers and scientist.

Are you a scientist, Phd holder if not please change this video

  • True. I'm not talking about scientists or graduate students. I'm talking about the flooded software market. Thank you.

  • Aren't the principles of free market economies plain fields and open competition? Why do you fear competition?

  • Yes absolutely, the market should be free and fair. There is no shortage of skilled labor here. The H1B visa is being used to flood the market and drive down wages. That is anti free market and anti competitive. The playing field regarding H1B visas is not level.

  • the practice of H1B visas existed well before the obama administration, it has been going on since the mid nineties. yes, it is corrupt, and it drives down wages and increases corporate profits.

  • if american corporations can bring down costs by hiring american workers, then why not. but if the same job can be done by someone who charges 1/10th the fee, then obviously companies would want to do biz with him. Would you be willing to buy a laptop made in the US for 5 grand? you'd want to buy chinese stuff at dirt cheap prices at walmart but you dont want your jobs to go to China eh? very convenient.

  • You make a nice argument in favor of lower wages. Good luck with that.

  • @furiouspride. And thus now u r seeing the effects of the 'free market' principals @ work. Massive unemployment ON OUR SHORES!! Nice huh? MayB ur 2 young 2 remember, but...yrs ago U.S. products were priced reasonably. It wasn't until we started outsourcing our jobs that imported stuff started to get so cheap. Know what that little extra cost on our products afforded us? An excellent quality of life here. Now look at us. 2 trillion in deficits, unemployment, etc.
