But why show a GOP Elephant at the end of this video? AIG bailouts was as corrupt as it gets, and Bush/McCain were on board. If I show up to a tea party rally, do I have to listen to the hypocrisy, or will the GOP publicly repent and show genuine remorse for helping to create this Fascist style Govt? There is ONLY ONE WAY to beat Democrats, and that's vote Republican. It is NOT a statement of approval of everything republicans do or have done... it is simply an acknowledgement that a third party would fracture the right's vote and permit the left to win, always.

Maybe it's the GOP that is fracturing the conservative ideals, not the other way around. I don't agree with everything either, but what I agree with the GOP must be in the low 20%. The majority of what they do is Big Govt. and so is the majority of what the dems do. I have voted mostly GOP but am leaning towards Liberatarian unless the GOP can have a miracle.

also, in my book, for the BEST results, I like to see CONSERVATIVE Republicans. that's why I feel it's a cop-out for Hannity to say "i'm a conservative, not a republican". you have to draw a line in the sand to dictate what side you're on, you can't just say "ehh..I'm a republican..but not really, I just want small government and all that", you know? SGT, I for one believe that MLK was an opportunist, carrying out the plans of Dubois's communist ideologies and the Civil Rights act of 64 did nothing more then erode private property rights as designed. Plenty of evidence shows that Rights were given by God, not by govts telling us who we can and canot hire and fire, and who we allow onto private property. The Bill of Rights does not need an addendum, especially one that tells you how to use your property.

MLK preached unity and non violence. He didn't advocate for any revenge or any reparations and he didn't advocate any one group's primacy over another. His words "not skin color but content of character" come FAR FAR closer to my conservative view of the race 'problem' than ANY OTHER POLITICIAN, now or historically. dave, King called on Govt to interfere on behalf of minorities and force the private community into a system of nanny control. This is exactly the same Mission that Dubois set forth. Republicans in 1964also created the dept of education and fixed wage prices. There was nothing small Govt about the 64 Reps, except that Goldwater rose from the minority of disullioned reps who demanded small Govt back. In 64, Democrats were for nanny govt in the south that kept blacks seperated from whites.

THAT aside, I loved the video, I remember friday, august 28th pretty well - the truckers, the turn out, the heat, armstrong & getty. Didn't catch the communist agitator, I guess that day wasn't free from counter-protest like I thought. It was fun as hell though, especially considering it was my first protest venue. good times!

feel free to nitpick. I came home Friday night and stayed up till it was done, so I was sleep-deprived. I like seeing some of the same people in yours, plus the signs that I didn't get. I only saw two individuals counter-protesting and both of them were escorted off for being rude & crude. Other than those two quickly dealt with cases, the rest of the day was perfect. Nice to be around so many people who see through things.

I brought one of those tall cooler type lunch bunches, being that I was going to be there for a few hours, and damn I had to power through it being that the sun about sapped a lot of my energy so quickly, had to keep grabbing a water or gatorade & a simple cheese sandwhich to keep going. damn sun caused me to burn things more quickly, but hey, it was fun out there, it was like a protest swap meet - "hey I like yours", "yours is cool!" etc etc
